Abstract This article introduces an early warning and control method of user satellite communication traffic applied to satellite communication system. Due to the high communication cost of transportation satellites, in order to avoid high communication bills, the full-service ability to collect call data records (CDR) by Transportation Satellite Business Support System is required to provide early warning and business control over the four dimensions of voice, data, text messages, and package fees for satellite communications. At the same time, the system predicts the typical user behavior through the time series prediction Prophet algorithm, which serves as the default reminder rule to achieve full coverage of users.

In this paper, a hybrid HARQ scheme was proposed by combing forced retransmission and traditional HARQ together, after analyzing the characteristics of satellite channel and the problem encountered when utilizing HARQ scheme in GEO satellite communication system. The forced retransmission can make a packet be correctly decoded more quickly and shorten the waiting delay. Meanwhile, to balance the delay and throughput, the proper parameters were given for the proposed hybrid scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme performs well at decreasing the waiting delay, especially when SNR is low. The conclusion can be drawn that the proposed scheme can improve the HARQ performance in GEO satellite communication systems.

Ka-band satellite communication system has some advantages including a large bandwidth, a huge capacity, a narrow beam, a small terminal size, which makes it a trend in future satellite communications. However, the system is now faced with great challenge-meteorological factors, which aroused suspicion among researchers about its realization. In this paper, the feature of rain fade is analyzed and several compensation methods are presented.

The article considers the effect of non-Stationary unintentional interference on the earth station of a satellite communications system with Multi-Frequency Time-Division Multiple Access. The influence of non-stationary interference and white Gaussian noise on the earth station reception channel is compared using simulation modeling. The simulation model takes into account the effect of unintentional interference on the synchronization subsystem and the allocation of the boundaries of the transmitted packet of the receiver of the earth station of the satellite communication system. The probability of a bit error was used as a criterion for the quality of the satellite channel operation. The article shows the dependence of the protective ratio on the ratio of the preamble length to the packet length under the influence of pulsed interference. The obtained dependence can be used to assess the noise immunity of an earth station in a satellite communications system under the influence of pulsed interference.

Traditional land satellite communication system mostly use parabolic antenna, which is bulky and inflexible. Microtrip arraying antenna also can be used as the antenna of land satellite communication system, however, the microtrip antenna has a low gain and a large loss. In this paper, a novel waveguide horn antenna is designed. The radiation layer is perfect conductor with a octagonal hole in the center. the feeding layer is double orthogonal microstrip-feed plane to achieve bipolaron. The unit antenna size is only 21mm 21mm2.2mm. Gain of 2 2 array was 15dB. The antenna had a simple structure, small volume and high gain, particularly suitable for land satellite communications system.
