To study the deformation and fracture form of double-deck metal cylindrical tube under inside-explosive loading, the numerical simulation of the deformation and fracture process of double-deck metal cylindrical tube under inside-explosive loading of TNT was performed by LS-DYNA, and the fragment number and mass statistics software code is developed. The results showed that, with different length of TNT and detonating position the fragment number and mass is greatly different . The result can be a consult to some practicalities like the cannonball exploded in the gun barrel during shoot.

A comprehensive approach, including statistical physics and thermodynamics is required in the modelling of phenomena underlying the processes of deformation and fracture of solids. This work is devoted to the description of the damage to fracture transition, using statistically based thermodynamic model of mesocracks and mesoshifts evolution. Numerical simulation of quasistatic tensile experiment of vanadium plate specimen illustrated the influence of bulk and shear defects on stress-strain state.

According to the actual progress of a certain Surface Mine and based on strength reduction method, the deformation and fracture processes of the high dip bedded soft rock slope was simulated with RFPA-SRM, the stability of the slope was calculated. By analyzing the numerical simulation results, the characters of the deformation of high dip bedded soft rock slope and the landslide mode were demonstrated, which could provide a scientific basis for reasonable landslide control measures.
