In the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM) the interactions between the SUSY particles and the Standard Model (SM) particles can contribute to the lepton flavor violation (LFV) decays of vector mesons at loop level. Taking the constraint on the lightest Higgs mass around 126 GeV, we study these decays by a scan over the parameter space which gives the predictions on μ-e conversion and τ→μγ satisfying the experimental bounds. The branching ratios of the vector mesons decays into eμ are strongly suppressed. However, the branching ratios of the heavy flavor mesons decays into τμ can reach the experimental sensitivity in near future. Therefore, the experimental signals of these decays may serve as a probe of the MSSM.

By using the 3-point QCD sum rules, we calculate the transition form factors of [Formula: see text] decays into the spin triplet axial vector mesons [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text]. In the calculations, we consider the quark contents of each meson in detail. In view of the fact that the isospin of [Formula: see text] is one, we calculate the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] transition form factors separately. In the case of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], the mixing between light flavor [Formula: see text] singlet and octet is taken into account. Based on the form factors obtained here, we give predictions for the branching ratios of relevant semileptonic decays, which can be tested in the future experiments.

Experimental results from π-, K-, Σ- capture, [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] annihilations in liquid H2 show that the fraction of captures and annihilations from atomic P states is less than 5% in agreement with theoretical expectations. However, an anomalously large fraction from P states by a factor of ten is inferred from the branching ratios for the reactions [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] at rest in liquid H2 and liquid D2 respectively. One explanation for this inconsistenct is that the reaction [Formula: see text] is occurring from an atomic S state of protnium, which is possible if the two π0's are not identical. It should be noted that a second neutral pion (with different lifetime and decay properties) was observed in antinucleon-nucleon reactions in a 1964 experiment. We describe two experimental tests, one to determine whether [Formula: see text] can occur from an atomic S state, and another to search for the π0π0 decay mode of neutral vector mesons with JPC = 1--.
