The title compound, C20H29NSi+·Br−, contains a chiral silicon atom but crystallizes as a racemate. The C—Si—C bond angles in the range of 103.64 (8)–111.59 (9)° are usual for tetrahedral geometry. The piperidine ring shows a regular chair conformation with an equatorially positioned exocyclic N—C bond. In the crystal, there is a hydrogen bond between the ammonium cation and the bromide anion. The crystal packing shows the dominant intermolecular interaction to be the electrostatic attraction between the ammonium cation and the bromide anion.

In the title compound, C18H24N6O·H2O, the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation with an N—C—C—C torsion angle of 39.5 (5)° between thecis-related substituents. The pyrrole N—H group forms a water-mediated intermolecular hydrogen bond to one of the N atoms of the annelated pyrimidine ring. The water molecule connects two organic molecules and is disorderd over two positions (occupancies of 0.48 and 0.52). The crystal packing shows zigzag chains of alternating organic and water molecules running parallel to theaaxis.

In the title compound, C26H25NO6S, the S atom shows a distorted tetrahedral geometry, with O—S—O [119.46 (9)°] and N—S—C [107.16 (7)°] angles deviating from ideal tetrahedral values, a fact attributed to the Thorpe–Ingold effect. The sulfonyl-bound phenyl ring forms dihedral angles of 41.1 (1) and 83.3 (1)°, respectively, with the formylphenyl and phenyl rings. The dihedral angle between formylphenyl and phenyl rings is 47.6 (1)°. The crystal packing features C—H...O hydrogen-bond interactions.

In the title compound, C17H19NO2S2, the 2H-chromene ring system is nearly planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.0383 (28) Å, and the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation. The 2H-chromene ring makes dihedral angles of 32.89 (16) and 67.33 (8)°, respectively, with the mean planes of the piperidine ring and the carbodithioate group. In the crystal, C—H...O and weak C—H...S hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along [001]. The crystal structure also features C—H...π and π–π interactions, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.7097 (17) Å.

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C11H14N2OS, the six atoms of the central C2N2OS residue are coplanar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.002 Å), which facilitates the formation of an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond, which closes anS(6) loop. The terminal phenyl ring is inclined with respect to the central plane [dihedral angle = 42.10 (6)°].
