The asymmetric unit of the title organic–inorganic hybrid salt poly[aquabis[μ3-bis(2-methyllactato)borato]dipotassium], [K(C8H12BO6)(H2O)0.5] n , consists of one bis(2-methyllactato)borate anion, one potassium cation and one water molecule that shows half occupancy due to disorder around a twofold rotation axis. The potassium cation is pseudo-octahedrally coordinated by five O atoms of four symmetry-related bis(2-methyllactato)borate ligands and by the half-occupied water molecule. O—H...O hydrogen bonds between the water molecule and one of the borate O atoms of the bis(2-methyllactato)borate ligand are present in the crystal structure.

The title compound, fac-[Re(C12H12N3)(CO)3]Br·0.5H2O, crystallizes with a cationic rhenium(I) unit, a bromide ion and half a water molecule, situated on a twofold rotation axis, in the asymmetric unit. The ReI atom is facially surrounded by three carbonyl ligands and a tridentate bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amine ligand in a distorted octahedral environment. N—H...Br, O—H...Br, C—H...O and C—H...Br hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure and π–π stacking is also observed [centroid–centroid distances = 3.669 (1) Å and 4.054 (1) Å], giving rise to a three-dimentional network. The molecules pack in a head-to-head fashion along the ac plane.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, NH4+·C11H14N6O7P−·0.5H2O, contains one 3′-azido-3′-deoxythymidine-5′aminocarbonylphosphonate (ACP–AZT) anion, half of an NH4+cation lying on a twofold rotation axis and in another position, occupied with equal probabilities of 0.5, an NH4+cation and a water molecule. The amide group of the ACP–AZT anion is disordered (occupancy ratio 0.5:0.5), with one part forming an N—H...O (involving C=O...H4N+) hydrogen bond and the other an O—H...N (involving C—NH2...OH2) hydrogen bond with the components of the split NH4+/H2O position. The pseudorotation parameters of ACP–AZT set it apart from previously studied AZT and thymidine. In the crystal, the various components are linked by N—H...O, O—H...O, N—H...N, C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional framework.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Ni(H2O)6](C12H12BrN2O5S)2·H2O, contains a half hexaaquanickel(II) complex cation with the NiIIion lying on an inversion center, one 5-bromo-7-[(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]-1-methyl-6-oxidoquinolin-1-ium-3-sulfonate (QAO) anion and a half lattice water molecule on a twofold rotation axis. In the crystal,QAOanions are stacked in a column along thecaxis by π–π stacking interactions [centroid–centroid distances 3.5922 (10)–3.7223 (11) Å]. The columns are interlinked by hexaaquanickel(II) cations through O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds.

The structure of the 1:2 co-crystalline adduct C8H16N4·2C6H5BrO, (I), from the solid-state reaction of 1,3,6,8-tetraazatricyclo[4.4.1.13,8]dodecane (TATD) and 4-bromophenol, has been determined. The asymmetric unit of the title co-crystalline adduct comprises a half molecule of aminal cage polyamine plus a 4-bromophenol molecule. A twofold rotation axis generates the other half of the adduct. The primary inter-species association in the title compound is through two intermolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds. In the crystal, the adducts are linked by weak non-conventional C—H...O and C—H...Br hydrogen bonds, giving a two-dimensional supramolecular structure parallel to thebcplane.

The asymmetric unit in the structure of the title compound, C25H22NO2+·Br−·0.5CH2Cl2·0.5H2O, comprises two pseudosymmetry-related cations, two bromide anions, a dichloromethane molecule and a water molecule of solvation. The two independent cations are conformationally similar with the comparative dihedral angles between the central pyridine ring and the three benzene substituent rings being 3.0 (2), 36.4 (1) and 24.2 (1)°, and 3.7 (2), 36.5 (1) and 24.8 (1)°, respectively. In the crystal, the cations, anions and water molecules are linked through O—H...O and O—H...Br hydrogen bonds, forming an insular unit. Within the cations there are also intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds. Adjacent centrosymmetrically related aggregates are linked by π–π stacking interactions between the pyridine ring and a benzene ring in both cations [ring-centroid separations = 3.525 (3) and 3.668 (3) Å], forming chains extending across theacdiagonal. Voids between these chains are filled by dichloromethane molecules.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C5H4Br2N)2[SnBr6], contains one cation and one half-anion. The anion exhibits a distorted octahedral arrangement about the Sn atom, which lies on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis. In the crystal structure, intermolecular hydrogen bonds and short Br...Br interactions cause the formation of a supramolecular architecture, in which they may be effective in the stabilization of the structure.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazin-1-ium cyanoacetate monohydrate, C3H7N6 +·NCCH2COO−·H2O, consists of a melaminium cation, a cyanoacetate anion and a water molecule, which are connected to each other via N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating an eight-membered ring. In the crystal, the melaminium cations are connected by two pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming tapes along [110]. These tapes develop a three-dimensional network through N—H...O, O—H...O, N—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds between the cations, anions and water molecules.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C8H9NO2·H2O consists of an isolated 4-(ammoniomethyl)benzoate zwitterion derived from 4-aminomethylbenzoic acid through the migration of the acidic proton, together with a water molecule of crystallization that is disordered over three sites with occupancy ratios (0.50:0.35:0.15). In the crystal structure, N—H...O hydrogen bonds together with π–π stacking of the benzene rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.8602 (18) Å] result in a strongly linked, compact three-dimensional structure.

The title compound, C34H38O8(systematic name: 5,5′-diisopropyl-2,2′,3,3′-tetramethoxy-7,7′-dimethyl-2H,2′H-8,8′-bi[naphtho[1,8-bc]furan]-4,4′-diol), has been obtained from a gossypol solution in a mixture of dimethyl sulfate and methanol. The molecule is situated on a twofold rotation axis, so the asymmetric unit contains one half-molecule. In the molecule, the hydroxy groups are involved in intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds, and the two naphthyl fragments are inclined each to other by 83.8 (1)°. In the crystal, weak C—H...O and C—H...π interactions consolidate the packing, which exhibits channels with an approximate diameter of 6 Å extending along thec-axis direction. These channels are filled with highly disordered solvent molecules, so their estimated scattering contribution was subtracted from the observed diffraction data using the SQUEEZE option inPLATON[Spek, A. L. (2015).Acta Cryst. C71, 9–18].
