Granulation is a particle enlargement process during which fine particles or atomizable liquids are converted into granules via a series of complex granulation mechanisms. In this paper, two feedback control strategies are implemented to make granulation loop processes more steady to operate, i.e., to suppress oscillatory behavior in the produced granule sizes. In the first control strategy, a classical proportional-integral (PI) controller is used, while in the second, a double-loop control strategy is used to control the median diameter of the granules leaving the granulator. The simulation results showed that using the proposed control design for the granulation loop can eliminate the oscillatory behaviour in the produced granule median diameter and make granulation loop processes more steady to operate. A comparison between the two proposed control strategies showed that it is preferable to use the double-loop control strategy.

A kind of Cuk grid-connected inverter is proposed for renewable energy power generation. The grid-connected inverter using Cuk input series output parallel circuit, form a new type of non isolated single stage output parallel input series double Cuk inverter circuit. Firstly, On the basis of the topological structure and principle, the double-loop control strategy is researched to enhance its adaptability and robustness. Simulative results show that,the proposed inverter with double-loop control has better dynamic and static performances, with less output current harmonics and better waveform quality.

In view of a serious threat for the transient stability of the power system being caused by the large-scale wind farms integration, and combining with advantages of STATCOM which can quickly restore the fault voltage and fastly, flexibly and smoothly compensate the reactive power, a method is proposed using STATCOM controller of to improve transient stability of the power system integrated by large-scale wind farms. The control strategy of the STATCOM controller uses adaptive double loop control. The role of the device to improvement transient stability of the power system is studied under the condition of serious fault. by simulation comparison with the condition without STATCOM controller installed at the same place. The simulation results show that the STATCOM controller can clearly improve transient stability of the power system integrated by large-scale wind farms.

Control strategy of inverter is the foundation of microsource’s power control. Based on a typical system setting method, double-loop control system of LC filter and inverter for voltage-source inverter in microgrid is designed. The feasibility is verified via the simulation.
