Ad Hoc network as a wireless multi-hop network, it can expand the communication coverage. It is very suitable for emergency communication system when communication infrastructure has been destroyed and are too late to repair. In this paper, against the application scenarios and business needs in emergency communication system, and through analyses of the Ad Hoc routing protocols, performances of several routing protocols were quantitatively analyzed by NS-2. We finally discuss the results and present some conclusions.
