Mobile learning can be identified as the next stage in the development of e-learning. In this regard, the purpose of this paper is to propose a model for mobile learning integration in higher education which is based on analysis of students’ expectations. То achieve this goal, a survey has been conducted among students enrolled in programs in the field of information and communication technologies. The analysis of the collected data shows that students have mobile devices, which they use not only for communication on social networks, but also for education. In addition, their expectations regarding mobile learning have been identified taking into account their study program and their previous experience with an e-learning platform.

Studies have analyzed social networks considering a plethora of metrics for different goals, from improving e-learning to recommend people and things. Here, we focus on large-scale social networks defined by researchers and their common published articles, which form co-authorship social networks. Then, we introduce CNARe, an online tool that analyzes the networks and present recommendations of collaborations based on three different algorithms (Affin, CORALS and MVCWalker). Through visualizations and social networks metrics, CNARe also allows to investigate how the recommendations affect the co-authorship social networks, how researchers' networks are in a central and eagle-eye context, and how the strength of ties behaves in large co-authorship social networks. Furthermore, users can upload their own network in CNARe and make their own recommendation and social network analysis.

Information and communication technologies create new educational opportunities, and the most obvious of which are related to e-learning. Nowadays Internet provides great opportunities for organizing a team project work. The article considers an example of quantitative and content analysis of authentic materials and relevant themes in social networks while studying English. The phenomenon of “childfree” is rather common trend among young people, analysis of which could serve as an incentive to motivate them in acquiring real practical knowledge and skills. The study revealed that statements on this topic are overwhelmingly made by women who can praise a childless lifestyle; that there are different problems related to having children and fears related to pregnancy, childbirth, etc. Photos (selfies, happy moments with pets, frames from travel, achievements in sport) in social networks exacerbate the situation by providing an attractive alternative to families with children, and extra evidence to verbalized rational reasons for supporting “childfree”. The studied example shows that such kind of project work fosters developing critical thinking, language, intercultural, and analytical skills.
