Examples of the use of 3 dimensional mapping systems are found throughout the detailed discussion of instructive arrhythmia cases in this text. Although the systems provide a powerful tool to better treat complex arrhythmia, the student of electrophysiology should be aware of the various pitfalls that sometimes result in confusion and inaccuracy with interpretation.
