Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) (genus Potyvirus, family Potyviridae) was first isolated in Europe during the 1970s and in the United States in 1981. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of ZYMV isolate BL-67, isolated from pumpkin in Oklahoma during the 2016 growing season.

ABSTRACT We report here the complete genome sequence of a GII.6 norovirus strain detected in a clinical fecal specimen from the United States. The virus genome has a length of 7,547 bp and a GC content of 50.1%. Complete norovirus genotyping of the full-genome sequence identified the virus genotype as GII.P6_GII.6.

ABSTRACT The pathogenic bacterium Bacillus anthracis has become the subject of intense study as a result of its use in a bioterrorism attack in the United States in September and October 2001. Previous studies suggested that B. anthracis Ames Ancestor, the original Ames fully virulent plasmid-containing isolate, was the ideal reference. This study describes the complete genome sequence of that original isolate, derived from a sample kept in cold storage since 1981.

Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Avian coronavirus strain ArkDPI of the GI-9 lineage, isolated from broiler chickens in North Georgia in 1994. This is the complete genome sequence of this vaccine strain, reisolated from broilers in the United States.

Influenza D virus was first described in 2011 from a pig with respiratory disease; however, recent evidence indicates that cattle are the major viral reservoir. Here, we describe the genome sequence of the eighth complete swine-origin influenza D virus deposited into GenBank, D/swine/Kentucky/17TOSU1262/2017, which was collected at a 2017 swine exhibition.
