ABSTRACT Actinomyces sp. strain Chiba101, isolated from an arthritic leg joint of a pig raised in Japan, is a bacterium closely related to Actinomyces denticolens. Here, we deciphered the complete genome sequence of Actinomyces sp. Chiba101 and the high-quality draft genome sequence of A. denticolens DSM 20671T.

We isolated Pseudomonas otitidis strain MrB4 from the near-shore area of Lake Biwa in Japan and generated its complete genome sequence. MrB4 possesses a single circular chromosome of 6,089,454 bp, with ∼97% average nucleotide identity to the P. otitidis type strain MCC10330 (draft genome).

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of the bacteriocin-producing Enterococcus faecium strain HY07, isolated from traditional Chinese fermented sausages. The genome comprises 2,585,631 bp with 2,624 coding sequences, as assigned by NCBI, which may provide fundamental molecular information on elucidating the adaption mechanism of Enterococcus faecium to the meat environment.

ABSTRACT Paenarthrobacter nicotinovorans Hce-1 is a Gram-positive obligate aerobe actinomycete. We report here the complete genome sequence of this organism. The genome has a length of 4,174,362 bp and contains 4,568 protein-coding genes, 64 tRNA operons, and 22 rRNA operons. Its GC content in the gene region is 63.4%.

Ehrlichia minasensis is a tick-borne pathogen affecting cattle, cervids, and dogs, and it is closely related to the monocytotropic pathogen Ehrlichia canis. Here, we announce the draft genome sequence of Ehrlichia minasensis strain Cuiabá, isolated from a naturally infected calf from Santo Antônio do Leverger, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
