Pokeweed mosaic virus (PkMV) causes systemically mosaic symptoms on pokeweed ( Phytolacca americana L.) plants. The genome of the PkMV-NJ (New Jersey) isolate was cloned by PCR and sequenced by the Sanger sequencing method. The sequence comparison indicates that PkMV-NJ is more divergent from the other two sequenced isolates, PkMV-MD and PkMV-PA.

Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) (genus Potyvirus, family Potyviridae) was first isolated in Europe during the 1970s and in the United States in 1981. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of ZYMV isolate BL-67, isolated from pumpkin in Oklahoma during the 2016 growing season.

We present here the complete genome sequence of isolate Bari 1, a mild strain of Cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV). The isolate was collected from Diplotaxis tenuifolia (perennial wall-rocket) in Bari, Italy. The genome was 8,020 nucleotides long and shared ≤85.4% nucleotide identity to other CaMV isolates.

ABSTRACT The complete genome sequence of isolate Jiou of rehmannia mosaic virus (ReMV) infecting Rehmannia glutinosa in Japan was obtained via Sanger sequencing. Isolate Jiou shared high nucleotide sequence identity (>94%) with other known ReMV isolates.

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is an emerging opportunistic human pathogen. In this report, we describe the isolation and genomic annotation of the S. maltophilia-infecting bacteriophage Mendera. A myophage of 159,961 base pairs, Mendera is T4-like and related most closely to Stenotrophomonas phage IME-SM1.
