INTERACTION OF A TWO-LEVEL ATOM WITH A SQUEEZED DISPLACED NUMBER STATE

We investigate the interaction of a two-level atom with a cavity field in a squeezed displaced number state: [Formula: see text]. It is shown that this state exhibits interesting features, while generalizing various particular results of the literature. Additional discussions about the influence of phase optimization of a state upon collapse and revivals effects are also considered.
