This small volume, by members of the Department of Medicine at the School of Medicine University of Puerto Rico, attempts to present the electrocardiographic and vectorcardiographic findings in congenital heart disease for "the student and practitioner of medicine." The authors derive their discussion of this discipline from experience with their own case material, with additional references to other workers. Unfortunately, however, the authors' experience with many of the defects is extremely limited.
