In this paper, the existence of positive solutions for the nonlinear four-point singular BVP for there-order with p-Laplacian operator on time scales will be studied. By using the fixed-point theory, the existence of positive solutions for nonlinear singular boundary value problem with p-Laplacian operator on time scales is obtained.

A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of C[0, 1] positive solutions as well as C1[0, 1] positive solutions is given by means of the method of lower and upper solutions with the fixed point theorems.

By means of the fixed point theory of strict set contraction operators, we establish a new existence theorem on multiple positive solutions to a singular boundary value problem for second-order impulsive differential equations with periodic boundary conditions in a Banach space. Moreover, an application is given to illustrate the main result.

A four-functional fixed point theorem and a generalization of Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem are used, respectively, to investigate the existence of at least one positive solution and at least three positive solutions for third-order -point boundary value problem on time scales with an increasing homeomorphism and homomorphism, which generalizes the usual -Laplacian operator. In particular, the nonlinear term is allowed to change sign. As an application, we also give some examples to demonstrate our results.

AbstractBy using fixed point index theory, we present the existence of positive solutions for a Sturm-Liouville singular boundary value problem with at least one positive solution. Our results significantly extend and improve many known results even for non-singular cases.
