In this paper, we consider the following indirect signal generation and singular sensitivity n t = Δ n + χ ∇ ⋅ n / φ c ∇ c ,   x ∈ Ω , t > 0 , c t = Δ c − c + w ,   x ∈ Ω , t > 0 , w t = Δ w − w + n ,   x ∈ Ω , t > 0 , in a bounded domain Ω ⊂ R N N = 2 , 3 with smooth boundary ∂ Ω . Under the nonflux boundary conditions for n , c , and w , we first eliminate the singularity of φ c by using the Neumann heat semigroup and then establish the global boundedness and rates of convergence for solution.

In this study, we deal with the chemotaxis system with singular sensitivity by two stimuli under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a bounded domain with smooth boundary. Under appropriate regularity assumptions on the initial data, we show that the system possesses global classical solution. Our results generalize and improve previously known ones.

AbstractThis paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of classical solutions to two classes of models {-\triangle u\pm\lambda\frac{|\nabla u|^{2}}{u^{\beta}}=b(x)u^{-\alpha}}, {u>0}, {x\in\Omega}, {u|_{\partial\Omega}=0}, where Ω is a bounded domain with smooth boundary in {\mathbb{R}^{N}}, {\lambda>0}, {\beta>0}, {\alpha>-1}, and {b\in C^{\nu}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\Omega)} for some {\nu\in(0,1)}, and b is positive in Ω but may be vanishing or singular on {\partial\Omega}. Our approach is largely based on nonlinear transformations and the construction of suitable sub- and super-solutions.

AbstractWe prove bilinear estimates for the Schrödinger equation on 3D domains, with Dirichlet boundary conditions. On non-trapping domains, they match the ${ \mathbb{R} }^{3} $ case, while on bounded domains they match the generic boundaryless manifold case. We obtain, as an application, global well-posedness for the defocusing cubic NLS for data in ${ H}_{0}^{s} (\Omega )$, $1\lt s\leq 3$, with $\Omega $ any bounded domain with smooth boundary.

This paper is concerned with a spatially two-dimensional version of a chemotaxis system with logistic cell proliferation and death, for a singular tactic response of standard logarithmic type, and with interaction with a surrounding incompressible fluid through transport and buoyancy. Systems of this form are of significant relevance to the understanding of chemotaxis-fluid interaction, but the rigorous knowledge of their qualitative properties is yet far from complete. In this direction, using the conditional energy functional method, the present work provides some interesting contributions by establishing results on global boundedness, and especially on large time stabilization toward homogeneous equilibria, under mild assumptions on the initial data and appropriate conditions on the strength of the damping death effects.
