In order to successfully apply the Internet of Things and cloud computing to the administrative management of spatial structures and realize the systematization, digitization, and intelligence of administrative management, this article draws on research experience in related fields and considers the data characteristics and computing tasks of administrative management. The whole cycle of transmission, storage, postprocessing, and visualization is the main line of research, and a cloud computing-based spatial structure administrative management IoT system is constructed. First, by summarizing the application status of the Internet of Things, the general Internet of Things system is summarized into three levels, and combined with the specific work in the spatial structure administrative management, the overall framework of the spatial structure administrative management of the Internet of Things system is proposed, and the functional sublayers are carried out. Secondly, in response to the above problems, through the traditional image recognition system research and practical application investigation, in order to meet the user’s requirements for the computing efficiency and recognition accuracy of the image recognition system, an image recognition system in the cloud computing environment is proposed. It proposes a fuzzy evaluation algorithm of health grade hierarchy analysis optimized for the index system and scoring system and a calculation method that uses time series to identify regular outliers. The optical image pixel-level fusion method and the infrared and visible image fusion method based on complementary information are proposed, and the image fusion software is developed. Finally, in order to enable the application layer to use cluster resources to efficiently and intelligently process massive monitoring data containing redundancy, heterogeneity, anomalies, and many other defects, according to the calculation process of each specific task of data preprocessing and postprocessing in the application layer, demonstrations are made one by one. After analysis, it is concluded that vertical storage of data blocks according to different sensor channels is the optimal strategy.

With the development of emerging technology innovations such as the internet of things, classroom management has also shown an informatization trend. Among them, smart classrooms are an important part of the current university information environment construction. The purpose of this article is to build a smart classroom into an intelligent teaching environment with many functions such as intelligent perception and identification, real-time monitoring based on the internet of things technology and cloud computing technology. A questionnaire survey was conducted among freshman students in some majors, and interviews were conducted with the instructors. It was found that 92.19% of the students were satisfied with the classroom learning in the smart classroom environment, and most teachers thought that the teaching effect had been improved. Experiments have proven that the operation of smart classrooms based on the internet of things and cloud computing realizes the intelligence of teaching management services and improves the level of education informationization in schools.

Industry 4.0 is a technology-driven manufacturing process that heavily relies on technologies, such as the internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, web services, and big real-time data. Industry 4.0 has significant potential if the challenges currently being faced by introducing these technologies are effectively addressed. Some of these challenges consist of deficiencies in terms of interoperability and standardization. Semantic Web technologies can provide useful solutions for several problems in this new industrial era, such as systems integration and consistency checks of data processing and equipment assemblies and connections. This paper discusses what contribution the Semantic Web can make to Industry 4.0.

Edge data processing represents the new evolution of the Internet and Cloud computing. Its application to the Internet of Things (IoT) is a step towards faster processing of information from sensors for better performance. In automated systems, we have a large number of sensors, whose information needs to be processed in the shortest possible time and acted upon. The paper describes the possibility of applying Artificial Intelligence on Edge devices using the example of finding a parking space for a vehicle, and directing it based on the segment the vehicle belongs to. Algorithm of Machine Learning is used for vehicle classification, which is based on vehicle dimensions.

The fog computing is the emerging technology to compute, store, control and connecting smart devices with each other using cloud computing. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an architecture of uniquely identified interrelated physical things, these physical things are able to communicate with each other and can transmit and receive information. This research presents a framework of the combination of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Fog computing. The blockchain is also the emerging technology that provides a hyper, distributed, public, authentic ledger to record the transactions. Blockchains technology is a secured technology that can be a boon for the next generation computing. The combination of fog, blockchains, and IoT creates a new opportunity in this area. In this research, the author presents a middleware framework based on the blockchain, fog, and IoT. The framework is implemented and tested. The results are found positive.

Cloud-era Information Technology (IT) contains three main themes: The information hub (cloud), network communications (pipes), and intelligent terminals. In this chapter, the developmental stages of these three main components of cloud computing are discussed, with emphasis on future development. The Internet of things is also examined, which is expected to thrive as a direct result of the development of cloud computing.
