Three new species of the genus Guiodytes Tian, 2013 are described from the limestone caves of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern China: Guiodytes weii Huang & Faille sp. nov. and Guiodytes yueliangensis Huang & Tian sp. nov. from Dapo Dong and Huang Dong caves, respectively, in Huanjiang County, northernmost Guangxi; Guiodytes inexpectatus Tian & Zhou sp. nov. from the Zhuzhu Dong cave in Longzhou County, southwestern Guangxi. All of the six known species of Guiodytes are endemic to Guangxi, ranging from the southwest to the northernmost. A modified key to species and a distribution map for Guiodytes are provided.

The genus Concavetettix Deng, gen. nov. (type species: Concavetettix yunnanensis Deng, sp. nov.) is described from Daweishan, Pingbian County, Yunnan Province, China. The genus Macromotettix Günther, 1939 is reviewed. Three new species of the genus, M. microptera Deng, sp. nov., M. zhengi Deng, sp. nov. and M. brachyptera Deng, sp. nov. are described with detailed illustrations of external morphology. One new name is proposed: Macromotettix napoensis Deng, nom. nov.. Additionally, an updated key to species of the genus Macromotettix is given.

Three new species and one subspecies of the genus Amynthas are described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China: The new species are: Amynthas maximus Qiu & Dong, sp. nov. and Amynthas tortuosus Qiu & Dong, sp. nov., and Amynthas shengtangmontis Dong & Jiang, sp. nov., the subspecies is Amynthas shengtangmontis minusculussubsp. nov. All have four pairs of spermathecal pores in 5/6–8/9, which indicates that they should belong to the corticis-group. Their morphological characteristics are compared to other similar species in the corticis-group from China and other Asian countries, such as Amynthas pulvinus Sun & Jiang, 2013, Amynthas homosetus (Chen, 1938), Amynthas corticis (Kinberg, 1867), Amynthas dorsualis Sun & Qiu, 2013, and Amynthas carnosus (Goto & Hatai, 1899). In addition, the results presented are confirmed by the pairwise comparison of COI barcode sequences. The pairwise distances between each new species and the other eighteen corticis-group species are greater than 14.7% on average. Furthermore, the pairwise distance between A. shengtangmontis shengtangmontis and A. shengtangmontis minusculus is 10.7–11.4%.

The new delphacid genus Akemetopon gen. n. (Delphacinae: Delphacini) is described and illustrated with 3 new species from Arizona and Mexico: Akemetopon inornatum sp. n., A. politum sp. n., and A. ainigma sp. n. A key to species is provided. The barcoding portion of the mitochondrial gene Cytochrome Oxidase I (COI) was sequenced for A. politum sp. n. A maximum likelihood analysis places this genus in the basal Delphacini.

During a field survey in 2019, three new species of eriophyoid mites were collected from Melicope pteleifolia, in Rongan county, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Aceria melicope sp. nov. causes blister-like galls on the upper side of the leaves, forming thickened, wrinkled and distorted leaves. Phyllocoptruta pteleifoliae sp. nov. and Diptilomiopus ronganensis sp. nov. are vagrant on the leaves and no apparent symptom was observed.
