The Chinese representatives of the entimine weevil genus Geotragus are here revised, including redescriptions of the two previously known species, G. himalayanus Boheman, 1845 and G. tuberculatus Chen, 1990, and descriptions of three new species from the Hengduan Mountains, Yunnan province, China: G. brevidens sp. nov., G. declivis sp. nov. and G. rugosus sp. nov.. Diagnostic characters of the genus, a key to Chinese species of Geotragus and a checklist of the now 11 known world species are also provided.

AbstractThree new species of Tabanidae egg parasitoids are described: Telenomus hybomitraesp. nov. and Telenomus utilissp. nov., both reared from eggs of Hybomitra nitidifrons nuda (McDunnough) and Hybomitra lasiophthalma Macquart, and Telenomus chrysopsissp. nov., reared from eggs of Chrysops aestuans Wulp, Chrysops excitans Walker, and Chrysops mitis Osten Sacken. Specimens of these species were compared with type specimens of known New World species of scelionid parasitoids attacking tabanid eggs. Diagnostic characters and identification key to the Nearctic species are provided.

The diversity of the ‘Pselaphodes complex’ of genera from Asia remains fragmentally documented. Herein we describe fifteen new species of the genus Labomimus Sharp from China: L. assingi sp. nov. and L. dilatatus sp. nov. from Shaanxi, L. longnan sp. nov. and L. minshanus sp. nov. from Gansu, L. chouwenii sp. nov. from Taiwan, L. yue sp. nov. from Guangdong, L. howaichuni sp. nov. from Hong Kong, L. jinfomontis sp. nov. from Chongqing, L. niger sp. nov. from Sichuan, L. maolan sp. nov. from Guizhou, L. corpulentus sp. nov., L. dulongensis sp. nov., and L. wuchaoi sp. nov. from Yunnan, and L. medogensis sp. nov. and L. qiujianyuae sp. nov. from Xizang. A little known species, L. torticornis (Champion), originally described from Assam, northeastern India, is newly recorded in Yunnan, southwestern China. Illustrations of the habitus and major diagnostic characters of all treated species are provided. A checklist and a distributional map of world species are given.

The genus Concavetettix Deng, gen. nov. (type species: Concavetettix yunnanensis Deng, sp. nov.) is described from Daweishan, Pingbian County, Yunnan Province, China. The genus Macromotettix Günther, 1939 is reviewed. Three new species of the genus, M. microptera Deng, sp. nov., M. zhengi Deng, sp. nov. and M. brachyptera Deng, sp. nov. are described with detailed illustrations of external morphology. One new name is proposed: Macromotettix napoensis Deng, nom. nov.. Additionally, an updated key to species of the genus Macromotettix is given.

A taxonomic revision of the flea beetle genus <em>Diphaulacosoma</em> Jacoby, endemic to Madagascar, is provided. This genus includes seven species of which three are new to science: <em>D. elegans</em> sp. n., <em>D. jenisi</em> sp. n., and <em>D. nigroscutis</em> sp. n. An updated catalogue including new material, new faunistic records, distributions, chorotypes, and ecological notes is supplied. Lectotypes for <em>Diphaulacosoma</em> <em>laevipenne</em> Jacoby, <em>D. bicolor</em> (Weise) and <em>D. scutellare</em> (Weise) are designated. Additionally, the revision comprises a key for the identification of all seven species considered, habitus photos, and microscope and scanning electron micrographs of diagnostic characters, including aedeagus and spermatheca.

Taxonomic updates and descriptions of four new species from Yunnan, China are provided: three new species in the genus Pitambara Distant, 1906: P. triremiprocta Wang & Soulier-Perkins, sp. nov., P. impudica Wang & Bourgoin, sp. nov., P. tricorne Wang & Wang, sp. nov., and one new species in the genus Serida Walker, 1857: Serida parenthesisflexuosa Wang & Soulier-Perkins, sp. nov. A new identification key to Pitambara species is provided, as well as to the species of the genus Lacusa Stål, 1862. Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang, 1985 stat. rev. is not considered as a synonym of the species L. fuscofasciata (Stål, 1854) anymore and Lacusa orientalis (Liang, 2000) is transferred to the genus Acothrura Melichar, 1915 as Acothrura orientalis (Liang, 2000) comb. nov.

Abstract Eleven new species of the ant-loving beetle genus Pselaphodes Westwood, 1870 (Pselaphinae: Tyrini) are described from China: P. aduncus sp. nov. (Yunnan), P. anjiensis sp. nov. (Zhejiang), P. antennarius sp. nov. (Guizhou), P. baoxingensis sp. nov. (Sichuan), P. daweishanus sp. nov. (Yunnan), P. elongatus sp. nov. (Yunnan), P. maolanensis sp. nov. (Guizhou), P. paraculeus sp. nov. (Guangxi, Guizhou), P. posticus sp. nov. (Jiangxi), P. prominulus sp. nov. (Jiangxi, Guangxi), and P. songxiaobini sp. nov. (Xizang). Pselaphodes spinosus Champion, 1925, originally known from northern India, is newly recorded from China (Xizang). Male habitus and major diagnostic characters of all treated species are illustrated. A revised checklist and a map summarizing the distributions of the world species of Pselaphodes are provided.

Three new species of the genus Araeopteron Hampson, 1893: A. dawaisp. nov., A. medogensissp. nov. and A. tibetasp. nov. are described from Motuo (= Medog) County of the Xizang Autonomous Region (= Tibet), China. The imagines as well as the male genitalia are illustrated. A checklist of the 45 species of the genus Araeopteron in the world fauna is presented, including recently and presently described species.

The harvestman genus Bonea Roewer, 1914 and its type species B. sarasinorum Roewer, 1914 are redescribed based on the type material. In addition, two new species of Bonea from Hainan Island, China, are described and illustrated: B. zhui sp. nov. and B. tridigitata sp. nov. A new species of Lomanius Roewer, 1923 from Yunnan Province, China, is also described and illustrated: L. bulbosus sp. nov.. Keys to the 10 species of Bonea and the six species of Lomanius are provided. Paralomanius Goodnight & Goodnight, 1948 is revalidated from the synonymy of Lomanius, carrying as junior synonym Eulomanius Roewer, 1949, and containing two species from Micronesia (Paralomanius longipalpus Goodnight & Goodnight, 1948) and Philippines (Paralomanius mindanaoensis (Suzuki, 1977) new status). Bonea is transferred from the Ibaloniinae to Podoctinae. These are the first records of named species of Podoctidae from China.
