A New Species

A new species, Barsine pseudoradians Joshi, Singh & Volynkin sp. nov. is described from North East India (Mizoram, Assam and Meghalaya) and Nepal. The new species belongs to the Barsine prominens (Moore) species-group and is compared with B. radians (Moore, 1878), B. pluma Černy, 2009, B. syntypica Swinhoe, 1906 and B. maculifasciata (Hampson, 1894). Barsine callida (Fang, 1991) is reported for the first time from India. Its comparison with the related Barsine mesortha (Hampson, 1898) is given. Two new combinations are established: Barsine callida (Fang, 1991), comb. nov. and Barsine germana (Rothschild, 1913), comb. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all the reviewed species are illustrated.

The Barsine phaeodonta species-group is reviewed. The new combination is established: Barsine phaeodonta (Hampson, 1911), comb. nov. Four new species are described: Barsine joshii, sp. nov. (South and North East India), Barsine meyi, sp. nov. (North West Myanmar), Barsine mophi, sp. nov. (North Laos) and Barsine arrigera, sp. nov. (Central Myanmar and North Thailand). Adults, male and female genitalia of all species are illustrated.

Satyrium (Superflua) deria (Moore, 1865) species group is revised. The group contains four species: S. (S.) deria (northern Himalayan region and southwestern Pamirs), S. (S.) muksuria Churkin & Pletnev, 2010 (southwestern Alay Mountains and Peter the Great Range), S. (S.) zabirovi Churkin & Pletnev, 2010 (from northwestern Pamirs to Darvaz Range), and S. (S.) hazarajatica sp. n. (type locality: central Afghanistan, Bamyan Province, Band-e Amir valley, env. Yakawlang). The new species differs from the other members of the group in the male and female genitalia, wing pattern, and colouration. Female genitalia of the S. (S.) deria, S. (S.) muksuria and S. (S.) zabirovi are illustrated and discussed for the first time. S. (S.) muksuria is newly recorded from the Alay Mountains. A key to species of the S. (S.) deria group is provided.

A New Species

The E. ovina group of species is proposed here to include Edessa ovina Dallas, 1851 from Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina (new records) and Guyana; E. impura Bergroth, 1891 from Brazil and Argentina (new record); E. sahlbergii Stål, 1872 restricted to Brazil; and E. graziae sp. nov. from Brazil and Argentina. The E. ovina group can be identified by the apex of the second pair of wings narrowing distally and by a tumid area on the ventral surface of the pygophore (male genitalia) projected posteriorly. Descriptions, measurements, and illustrations of the metasternal process, external and internal genitalia of male and female are provided. A map with the distribution of the species is presented. The holotype of Edessa ovina is designated here. Edessa argali Breddin, 1903 is considered a junior synonym of E. impura. Females of E. ovina and E. impura, and male of E. sahlbergii are described for the first time.

The Barsine obsoleta species-group is reviewed. A new species, Barsine fossi Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. is described from Vietnam. A new combination is established: Barsine obsoleta (Reich, 1937), comb. nov. The neotype is designated for Miltochrista gratiosa f. obsoleta Reich, 1937. Diagnoses for B. obsoleta and B. callorufa Wu et al., 2013 are given. Adults, male and female genitalia of the species reviewed and externally close species are illustrated.

A new genus Burmanyctycia gen. n. is described for the new species Burmanyctycia naumanni sp. n. from Chin State in north-western Myanmar. The new genus is related to the genera Blepharomima Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998, Bryotypella Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998 and Charanyctycia Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998. Two new synonyms are established: Bryotypella = Paranyctycia Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998, syn. n. and Bryotypella = Parabole Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998, syn. n. Six new combinations are established: Bryotypella minima (Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1999), comb. n., Bryotypella miraculosa (Hreblay, Peregovits & L. Ronkay, 1999), comb. n., Bryotypella orbiculosa (Hreblay & L. Ronkay, 1998), comb. n., Bryotypella rubiculosa (Hreblay & Ronkay, 1999), comb. n., Bryotypella medionigra (Hreblay & Ronkay, 1998), comb. n. and Bryotypella rectilinea (Hreblay & L. Present paper contains description of a new species, Afrasura tanzaniae Volynkin, sp. nov. from Tanzania. The new species is related to Afrasura rivulosa (Walker, 1854). Male of Afrasura pallescens Durante, 2009 is illustrated here for the first time, with its re-description provided. Afrasura terlineata Durante, 2009 is transferred to the genus Siccia Walker, 1854: Siccia terlineata (Durante, 2009), comb. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all species mentioned are illustrated.

The genus Rubrocuneocoris Schuh is recognized from Vietnam for the first time, with a new species, R. vietnamensis n. sp.  The new species is described and documented with images of the habitus and male genitalic structures. Male and female genitalic structures are described for R. albescens Yasunaga. Species of Rubrocuneocoris described from Taiwan are herein transferred to Atractotomoidea Yasunaga and the following new combinations are accordingly proposed: Atractotomoidea falcis (Lin 2006) n. comb., A. maculosus (Lin 2006) n. comb., A. nodus (Lin 2006) n. comb., and A. trifidus (Lin 2006) n. comb. A revised checklist of Rubrocuneocoris is presented.

A new species Ypsolopha rhinolophi Corley is described from northern Portugal and south-east France. It resembles Y. alpella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) and Y. lucella (Fabricius, 1775) but shows clear differences from both species in DNA barcode and in male and female genitalia. Male genitalia of Y. lucella are illustrated for the first time. The new species has been collected at light, reared from larvae on Quercus pyrenaica Willd. and recognised from DNA barcode fragments obtained from droppings of horseshoe bats.

The Prabhasa Moore, 1878 genus-group is reviewed. The male and female genitalia of Prabhasa venosa Moore, 1878, the type species of the genus, are described and illustrated for the first time. Two new genera, Macohasa Dubatolov, Volynkin & Kishida, gen. nov. and Chinasa Dubatolov, Volynkin & Kishida, gen. nov. and two new species, Macohasa cernyi Dubatolov, Volynkin & Kishida, sp. nov. and Chinasa sapa Dubatolov, Volynkin & Kishida, sp. nov. are described for Prabhasa venosa sensu authors. Abstract The Barsine perpallida-B. yuennanensis species-group is reviewed. Six new species, B. biformis Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Thailand and North Vietnam), B. laszloi Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (Nepal), B. hausmanni Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Thailand), B. andromeda Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. nov. (China: Shaanxi and Sichuan), B. eurydice Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Vietnam), and B. dao Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. nov. (North Vietnam and China: Yunnan), are described. All species treated are subdivided into five subgroups: B. biformis, B. perpallida, B. flavicollis, B. hausmanni, and B. yuennanensis subgroups. Four new combinations are established: Barsine hololeuca (Hampson, 1895), comb. nov., B. ruficollis (Fang, 1991), comb. nov., Barsine nigrovena (Fang, 2000), comb. nov. (all three from Miltochrista Hübner, [1819]), and B. flavicollis (Moore, 1878), comb. nov. (from Mahavira Moore, 1878). A lectotype for Mahavira flavicollis Moore, 1878 is designated. One new synonymy is established: B. perpallida (Hampson, 1900) = Diacrisia porthesioides Rothschild, 1910, syn. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all species are illustrated.
