The Barsine phaeodonta species-group is reviewed. The new combination is established: Barsine phaeodonta (Hampson, 1911), comb. nov. Four new species are described: Barsine joshii, sp. nov. (South and North East India), Barsine meyi, sp. nov. (North West Myanmar), Barsine mophi, sp. nov. (North Laos) and Barsine arrigera, sp. nov. (Central Myanmar and North Thailand). Adults, male and female genitalia of all species are illustrated.

A new species, Barsine pseudoradians Joshi, Singh & Volynkin sp. nov. is described from North East India (Mizoram, Assam and Meghalaya) and Nepal. The new species belongs to the Barsine prominens (Moore) species-group and is compared with B. radians (Moore, 1878), B. pluma Černy, 2009, B. syntypica Swinhoe, 1906 and B. maculifasciata (Hampson, 1894). Barsine callida (Fang, 1991) is reported for the first time from India. Its comparison with the related Barsine mesortha (Hampson, 1898) is given. Two new combinations are established: Barsine callida (Fang, 1991), comb. nov. and Barsine germana (Rothschild, 1913), comb. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all the reviewed species are illustrated.

In the present paper, two new species, Barsine persephone Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (N Thailand and N Vietnam), and Barsine asotoida Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (SW China and N Myanmar) are described. A new combination is established: Barsine specialis (Fang, 1991), comb. nov. Both new species belong to the Barsine prominens (Moore, 1878) species-group, and, as well as B. specialis have unusual for the genus dark brown forewing coloration. Adult, male and female genitalia are illustrated.

The Barsine obsoleta species-group is reviewed. A new species, Barsine fossi Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. is described from Vietnam. A new combination is established: Barsine obsoleta (Reich, 1937), comb. nov. The neotype is designated for Miltochrista gratiosa f. obsoleta Reich, 1937. Diagnoses for B. obsoleta and B. callorufa Wu et al., 2013 are given. Adults, male and female genitalia of the species reviewed and externally close species are illustrated.

Abstract The Barsine perpallida-B. yuennanensis species-group is reviewed. Six new species, B. biformis Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Thailand and North Vietnam), B. laszloi Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (Nepal), B. hausmanni Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Thailand), B. andromeda Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. nov. (China: Shaanxi and Sichuan), B. eurydice Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (North Vietnam), and B. dao Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. nov. (North Vietnam and China: Yunnan), are described. All species treated are subdivided into five subgroups: B. biformis, B. perpallida, B. flavicollis, B. hausmanni, and B. yuennanensis subgroups. Four new combinations are established: Barsine hololeuca (Hampson, 1895), comb. nov., B. ruficollis (Fang, 1991), comb. nov., Barsine nigrovena (Fang, 2000), comb. nov. (all three from Miltochrista Hübner, [1819]), and B. flavicollis (Moore, 1878), comb. nov. (from Mahavira Moore, 1878). A lectotype for Mahavira flavicollis Moore, 1878 is designated. One new synonymy is established: B. perpallida (Hampson, 1900) = Diacrisia porthesioides Rothschild, 1910, syn. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all species are illustrated.

The Barsine cardinalis–anomala 'species-complex' is revised. Five new species (B. pseudocardinalis Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. from Indochina, B. fansipana Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. from North Vietnam, B. nangkwak Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. from North Thailand, B. incompletostriga Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. from North-East India and B. rawanga Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. from North Burma) and one new subspecies (B. cardinalis gemina Volynkin & Černý, ssp. nov. from North Thailand) are described. A new combination (Barsine anomala (Elwes, 1890), comb. nov. ), new synonymy (Barsine cardinalis cardinalis (Hampson, 1900) = Miltochrista erubescens Rothschild, 1936, syn. nov.), and six new species-groups are established. The new genus Cabardites gen. n. is erected for the Adites maculata (Poujade, 1886) species-group with Asura limbata Wileman, 1911 as the type species. Four new species are described: Cabardites phifa Volynkin & Černý, sp. n. (North Thailand), C. auco Volynkin & Černý, sp. n. (North Vietnam), C. guanyin Volynkin & Černý, sp. n. (East China), C. tiendung Volynkin & Černý, sp. n. (North Vietnam) and C. varanagara Volynkin & Černý, sp. n. (North Thailand). Cabardites pica (Wileman, 1911), stat. & comb. n. is excluded from the synonymy with C. limbata stat. rev. & comb. n. and raised to the species level. Parasiccia fuscipennis Hampson, 1914 is synonymized with C. pica. Parasiccia karenkonis Matsumura, 1930 is excluded from the synonymy with C. maculata (Poujade, 1886), comb. n. and its belonging to the genus Metaemene Hampson (Erebidae, Boletobiinae) proposed by Poole (1989) is confirmed: Metaemene karenkonis (Matsumura, 1930), comb. rev. A new combination is established: Cabardites maculata (Poujade, 1886), comb. n. The lectotypes are designated for Parasiccia maculata var. formosibia Strand, 1917 and Asura limbata Wileman, 1911. Adults, male and female genitalia of all species of the genus are illustrated.

The Ghoria albocinerea Moore, 1878 species-group is established for a complex of species having the characteristic silver whitish forewing coloration and pattern presented mostly by a broad longitudinal shade along the anal wing margin. Four new species and one new subspecies of the species-group are described: Ghoria nanlingica dytiko ssp. n. (China: Sichuan), Ghoria dammay sp. n. (North Vietnam), Ghoria longivesica sp. n. (China: Yunnan and North Thailand), Ghoria mubupa sp. n. (China: Yunnan) and Ghoria synnefo sp. n. (North Vietnam). Adults, male and female genitalia of the new taxa and the related Ghoria albocinerea (the central and eastern Himalayas), Ghoria nanlingica Dubatolov, Kishida & Wang, 2012 (China: Guangdong) and Ghoria sinotibetica Dubatolov, Kishida & Wang, 2012 (China: Sichuan) are illustrated.

The genus Hypeugoa Leech, 1899 is synonymized with the nominate subgenus of the genus Stigmatophora Staudinger, 1881: Stigmatophora = Hypeugoa, syn. nov., and a new combination for the type species is established: Stigmatophora flavogrisea (Leech, 1899), comb. nov. Hypeugoa flavogrisea orientalis Daniel, 1951 is upgraded to species level and also assigned with Stigmatophora: Stigmatophora orientalis (Daniel, 1951), stat. & comb. nov. Hypeugoa radaricola Černý, 2009 is transferred to the genus Miltochrista Hübner, [1819]: Miltochrista radaricola (Černý, 2009), comb. nov. A new species similar to M. radaricola, Miltochrista eugoana sp. nov. is described from North Thailand. The original citation of the holotype label of M. radaricola is corrected. Adults together with male and female genitalia of the new and the similar species are illustrated.

(Malay Peninsula) and Barsine navneetsinghi Volynkin & Černý, sp. nov. (NE India and N Myanmar) are described. A new combination is established: Barsine zebrina (Moore, 1878), comb. nov.
