Hamadiana chapadensis gen. n. and sp. n. is described based on a single male specimen collected in Central Brazil. The new species belongs to the diving beetle tribe Laccophilini but could not be assigned to any existing genera, therefore a new genus is described to accommodate it. Hamadiana gen. n. is unique among Laccophilini in having the hind margin of the metacoxal process deeply incised and medially slightly protruded backwards. In addition, it differs from other genera of the tribe by having the antennomeres simple, not expanded, the metacoxal lines not straight, and the metatibiae with two simple apical spurs. The habitus, male genitalia, and diagnostic features are illustrated, and a distribution map is provided. A recently published key to Laccophilini is modified to include the new genus.

Lentireduvius Cai & Taylor, new genus, and one new species, L. brasiliensis Cai & Taylor, are described in the subfamily Peiratinae based on a single male specimen from Brazil. The dorsal habitus, antennal segments, male genitalia, and other diagnostic morphological features are illustrated with 25 figures. A key to the genera of Peiratinae of the Western Hemisphere is provided.

The new genus Phasmomantella gen. nov. is created to accommodate the new species P. nuichuana gen. et sp. nov. described from five adult females from Núi Chúa National Park in southern Central Vietnam. A second species, Phasmomantella pallida (Roy, 2001) gen. et comb. nov., is transferred from Euchomenella where it was originally described based on a single male specimen from the Nha Trang region in the Khánh Hòa Province. Phasmomantella gen. nov. is placed in the tribe Euchomenellini of the subfamily Deroplatyinae. A comprehensive diagnosis and detailed descriptions are presented along with high-resolution photographs, measurements and a distribution map. The standardised measurements are illustrated and a new key is proposed for the tribe Euchomenellini. The unique biogeography and habitats of the collection site within Núi Chúa National Park are discussed in the light of possible endemism and importance for nature conservation.

Prototympanogaster new genus and P. lordhowensis new species (Hydraenidae: Ochthebiinae: Meropathina), are described based on two male specimens collected on Mount Lidgbird, Lord Howe Island, Australia. The new genus is related to the Australian genus Tympanogaster Perkins 1979, but lacks the diagnostic metaventral tabella of members of that genus. High resolution images of the holotype, illustrations of the male genitalia, and photographs of the habitat are provided. Relationships to the other genera now known for the subtribe Meropathina (Ochthebiinae, Ochthebiini) are discussed, habitus images and diagnostic features of representative species are presented, and a key to the genera of Meropathina is provided.

Three new species of the genus Himalopsyche (Trichoptera, Rhyacophilidae) from the Hengduan Mountains in China are described. Species delimitation was based on diagnostic features of genitalia, as well as molecular data from six genes analysed using the multi-species coalescent method STACEY. Formal descriptions are focused on genital morphology. Males of Himalopsyche viteceki sp. nov. are most similar to those of H. alticola and H. martynovi, and females are most similar to those of H. tibetana and H. velata. Himalopsyche immodesta sp. nov. is described based on a single male specimen and it most resembles the males of H. viteceki. Males of H. velata sp. nov. are most similar to H. tibetana, and females are most similar to those of H. maxima and H. tibetana. Diagnostic characters are found on segment IX and the superior and inferior appendages of male genitalia, and most notably on segment VIII in female genitalia. The newly discovered species underline the Hengduan Mountains as a potential source of yet undiscovered aquatic biodiversity.

Gymnotocinclus anosteos, a new genus and species, is described from a headwater stream of the upper rio Tocantins basin in central Brazil. The new taxon is distinguished from other loricariids by the extreme reduction of dermal plates, having an almost completely naked body. Three other diagnostic features are: the absence of the lateral connecting bone, absence of bifid hemal spines, and odontode tips in the last dermal plates on the caudal peduncle dorsally or anteriorly curved. These derived features are not shared with any other hypoptopomine genus and the new taxon is hypothesized to be a basal member of the subfamily. Character states proposed by previous phylogenies of the subfamily are examined in the new taxon and its relationships are discussed.

A single male specimen of an undescribed genus of Coniopterygidae was collected in a blacklight trap in Las Cruces. New Mexico. The specimen keys out to the genus Helicoconis Enderlein of the subfamily Aleuropteryginae in Meinander's (1972) key, but genitalic studies show the need for a new generic designation. Because the genitalia of this new genus differ from all known genera of Coniopterygidae, it is difficult to make comparisons, but for descriptive purposes, the genitalia are compared to those of Helicoconis. The structures referred to here as ectoprocts are probably equivalent to the ectoprocts of Helicoconis but may represent other structures.

A new monobasic genus and species of the tribe Agalliini (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Megophthalminae) from Guizhou province of China is described and illustrated. Spinoagallia gen. nov. accommodates S. freytagi sp. nov.. The new species can be distinguished mainly by the unique characters of the male genitalia, combining the macrosetae on the outward and spine-like process curved ventrally on the inward pygofer caudodorsal lobe. A key for identification to new genus based on modifying primal key by Viraktamath (2011) is given. A map showing the geographic distribution of the new species is also provided.

A new genus of Clivinini, Psammocoryza Hogan new genus, and its type species P.vanemdeni Hogan new species (type locality Barra de Serinhaem, Pernambuco, Brazil), is described. Diagnostic features are illustrated by line drawings and photographs. Psammocoryza resembles Halocoryza Alluaud and Schizogenius Putzeys but differs by the peculiar macrosculpture of the pronotum, tuberculate profemora and reduced setation of the gonocoxite.

A new genus with a new species of soft-winged flower beetle, Pectotibialis paghmanensis Tshernyshev gen. et sp. nov. are described from Afghanistan. The new genus can be distinguished from the congeners of the tribe Apalochrini by the dark pectination in the apices of tibiae in both sexes, and the anterior tibiae which are hollowed at distal half, flattened and rounded femora, bituberculate basal parts of head and pronotum, two lamellate metathoracic appendages, tarsal comb above second tarsomere of anterior legs, and serrate antennae in the male. Based on the metathoracic appendages and comb in anterior legs would attribute this new species to the new genus Dromanthomorphus Pic, 1921, but all the other above-mentioned characters define its independent status and the designation of a new genus; Pectotibialis Tshernyshev gen. nov. The external appearance, special male characters and genitalia of the type species of the new genus are illustrated, and a distribution map is provided. A key to the Apalochrus-section of the tribe Apalochrini is provided.
