Two new species, Flavoperla retusata Mo, Li & Wang, sp. nov. and F. yangi Mo, Li & Murányi, sp. nov. are proposed from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. Distinctness of the new species is based on morphological characters and DNA sequence comparisons with their closest known relative, F. galerispina Mo, Wang & Li, 2020. The taxonomic relationships of the two new species and related congeners are discussed.

Two new nemourid species, Amphinemura meizhouensis sp. n. and A. tulipa sp. n., are described from Guangdong Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, respectively. Four larvae of the stonefly subfamily Amphinemurinae, A. bifascia Mo, Wang, Yang & Li, 2020, A. hamiornata Li & Yang, 2008, A. yao Mo, Yang, Wang & Li, 2017, and Indonemoura scalprata (Li & Yang, 2007) are described and illustrated on the basis of recently collected specimens from southern China. The female adult of A. hamiornata is also described from the type locality. Both new species are typical members of the A. sinensis (Wu, 1926) species group and the taxonomic relationships are discussed with related congeners.

Two new species of Nemouridae of the genusIndonemouraBaumann, 1975,Indonemouraquadratasp. n.andIndonemouraquadrispinasp. n., are described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, on the basis of both sexes and larval stage. The affinities towards related species are discussed, together with generic characters of the larvae.Indonemourascalprata(Li & Yang, 2007) is recorded from Guangxi for the first time, and its hitherto unknown female is described.

Three species of the Neoperla montivaga group are described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, including two new species, N. falcatatasp. nov. and N. shangsiensissp. nov., and a new record for Guangxi: N. bilineata Wu & Claassen, 1934. Illustrations and color images are provided for the three species mentioned above, and the new species is compared with related congeners in the group. Notes on the distribution of the Neoperla species known from Guangxi are also given.

A new species of Asian warty newt, Paramesotriton ermizhaoi, is described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. This species is easily distinguished from other congeners by external morphology and osteology. Phylogenetic analyses based on mitochondrial data place P. ermizhaoi as a possible sister taxon to P. hongkongensis and P. chinensis. The number of trunk vertebrae varies from 12 to 13 in the new species. The relationship between P. ermizhaoi and a potentially new Pachytriton species (Pachytriton C), and the Guangxi population of P. chinensis is briefly discussed.

Two new species, Aspidistra chunxiuensis and A. longshengensis, discovered in Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region of southern China, are described and illustrated. The first taxon is similar to A. grandiflora in the shape of the flower, but differs by leaf blade broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, base suborbicular; the perigone lobes shorter, 30–35 mm long; stigma upper surface flat, white, with 6 radial, purplish red, 4-fork-tipped lines from center to margin. The second taxon has close relations to A. pingtangensis in the shape of flower, but mainly differs by the perigone purplish red, lobes larger, 3–4 × 2–3 mm, adaxially shallowly verruculose from lobes to the upper part of the tube, stamen inserted at the middle of the tube.
