Resumen La oclusión del TPI es poco observada durante la realización de angioplastia primaria en infarto agudo de miocardio, posiblemente en parte por la baja probabilidad de sobrevivir al evento el tiempo suficiente para llegar a un hospital (1). Reportamos cinco casos de pacientes tratados con angioplastia primaria con presentación y evolución clínica diferentes. Palabras clave: Infarto con elevación del ST, angioplastia primaria, oclusión aguda del tronco principal izquierdo. Abstract The left main trunk occlusion is rarely observed during primary angioplasty in acute myocardial infarction, possibly in part by the low probability of surviving the event long enough to reach a hospital. We report five cases of patients treated with primary angioplasty with different clinical presentation and course.
