Leydig cells are known to be the main source of steroids in testicles. The agranular endoplasmic reticulum which in Leydig cells is abundant, has been considered to be the source and place of metabolism of steroids. One of the methods utilized in the male to control human population growth, is the vasectomy. Since many vasectomized men had improved their sexual behaviour, a matter that according to Phoenix is mediated by psychological factors, the question, that if Leydig cells are modified after vasectomy is still unanswered. We decided to find out the possible changes in Leydig cells if any, after the vasectomy.
