Traditional energy consumption is continuously decreasing, and new energy demand industries are continuously increasing. Full consumption of clean and renewable energy and efficient utilization of comprehensive energy will become the development trend of energy industry. The smart energy Internet based on the physical structure of the energy Internet is sweeping the world. Using smart and green to fundamentally change the existing energy structure and to adjust the structure dominated by fossil energy to a new energy structure dominated by renewable energy is of far-reaching significance to China’s energy transformation and upgrading in the future. This paper aims at the design idea of smart energy Internet rack for the newly-built ChengBi campus in Baise University, combines peak-valley electricity price and photovoltaic hydrogen production technology to stabilize the fluctuation of renewable energy output, and realizes the safe and stable operation of a comprehensive energy system of distributed photovoltaic power stations. A campus smart energy Internet system is formed by “wind power + photovoltaic + energy storage + charging pile + photovoltaic hydrogen production”.

Energy Internet is centered on electricity, based on a strong smart grid, and deeply integrates advanced information and communication technology, control technology and advanced energy technology to support the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy and electric power, comprehensive utilization efficiency optimization of energy, and the access of flexible and convenient multiple entities, which is a smart energy system with the characteristics of green safety, ubiquitous interconnection, efficient interaction, and intelligent openness. This article focuses on the impact of the development of the Energy Internet on power grid companies and the main business of power grid companies in the future development environment of the Energy Internet, providing references for the transformation and development of power grid companies.

We analyse the direction of the energy revolution from the dimensions of cleanness, electrification, intelligence, and ubiquity. Based on this, we highlight the importance of electricity in the Energy Internet and analyse the challenges faced by the development of the power grid. Then, we propose an electricity-centered energy comprehensive optimization model and set up baseline scenario and carbon neutral scenario, to achieve a systematic simulation of the path of Energy Internet to boost energy transition. The results show that the Energy Internet accelerates the process of clean energy supply, effectively promotes the development of the energy transition, and contributes to the realization of the carbon neutral goal. There are still many problems in the development of the Energy Internet. In order to accelerate the transformation of the energy system and the power industry, it is necessary to establish a sound energy policy system, encourage clean energy consumption, and use the construction of the Energy Internet to achieve optimal allocation of resources.

The integrated energy system can realize the complementary advantages of multiple energy sources and effectively solve the problem of low integrated energy efficiency of traditional energy systems. Carrying out research on the interactive scenarios and mechanisms of the energy supply and use modules of the integrated energy system is conducive to promoting the development of clean energy and promoting the indepth integration of energy Internet and distributed energy technology, smart grid technology, and energy storage technology. First, it summarizes the scenarios of the energy supply and use modules of the integrated energy system, and analyzes the interaction mechanism and paths of the energy supply and use modules of the integrated energy system on this basis.
