The design and realization of virtual simulation environment for non-lethal weapon system is presented. Besides the system architecture and design conception, several key problems and our solutions when developing a virtual simulation system, such as OpenGL based on dynamic geometry modeling, scene organization, and interaction are discussed.

Inspection is an essential part of the entire manufacturing chain providing measurement feedback to the process planning system. Fully automated machining requires automatic inspection process planning and real-time inspection results feedback. As inspection process planning is still based on G&M codes containing low-level information or vendor-specific bespoke routines, inspection process planning is mostly isolated from machining process planning. With the development of new data model standards STEP and STEP-NC providing high-level product information for the entire manufacturing chain, it is achievable to combine machining and inspection process planning to generate optimal machining and inspection sequences with real-time measurement results feedback. This paper introduces an integrated process planning system architecture for combined machining and inspection. In order to provide real-time inspection feedback, On-Machine Inspection (OMI) is chosen to carry out inspection operations. Implementation of the proposed architecture has been partially carried out with a newly developed data model and interpreter software. A case study was carried out to test the feasibility of the proposed architecture.

For the development about Manufacturing Execution System of mould making, the difficulty in manufacturing execution management is pointed out by combining mould making process with current management regulations of mould making enterprises. Goal of the system is analyzed and its main function is designed. System architecture is established based on WEB platform and B/S mode, The physical data model is designed by using PowerDesigner software and implementation methods of some critical functions for manufacturing execution system are developed based on JSP. Through practical enterprise application, it is proved that the system immensely enhance the manufacturing execution management level for mould making enterprises.

AUTOSAR will make the software better portable and expansible, will shorten the development cycle and reduce the cost of development. Because of AUTOSARs module idea, this paper designs the communication stack basing on Controller Area Network (CAN), and describes the critical realization of CAN driver, CAN interface, CAN transport layer, communication and diagnostic management. So it can meet the requirement of automotives control network.
