The increasing demand for cloud computing has shifted business toward a huge demand for cloud services, which offer platform, software, and infrastructure for the day-to-day use of cloud consumers. Numerous new cloud service providers have been introduced to the market with unique features that assist service developers collaborate and migrate services among multiple cloud service providers to address the varying requirements of cloud consumers. Many interfaces and proprietary application programming interfaces (API) are available for migration and collaboration services among cloud providers, but lack standardization efforts. The target of the research work was to summarize the issues involved in semantic cloud portability and interoperability in the multi-cloud environment and define the standardization effort imminently needed for migrating and collaborating services in the multi-cloud environment.

Cloud computing has become a practical solution for processing big data. Cloud service providers have heterogeneous resources and offer a wide range of services with various processing capabilities. Typically, cloud users set preferences when working on a cloud platform. Some users tend to prefer the cheapest services for the given tasks, whereas other users prefer solutions that ensure the shortest response time or seek solutions that produce services ensuring an acceptable response time at a reasonable cost. The main responsibility of the cloud service broker is identifying the best data centre to be used for processing user requests. Therefore, to maintain a high level of quality of service, it is necessity to develop a service broker policy that is capable of selecting the best data centre, taking into consideration user preferences (e.g. cost, response time). This paper proposes an efficient and cost-effective plan for a service broker policy in a cloud environment based on the concept of VIKOR. The proposed solution relies on a multi-criteria decision-making technique aimed at generating an optimized solution that incorporates user preferences. The simulation results show that the proposed policy outperforms most recent policies designed for the cloud environment in many aspects, including processing time, response time, and processing cost. With the increasing volume of web services in the cloud environment, Collaborative Filtering- (CF-) based service recommendation has become one of the most effective techniques to alleviate the heavy burden on the service selection decisions of a target user. However, the service recommendation bases, that is, historical service usage data, are often distributed in different cloud platforms. Two challenges are present in such a cross-cloud service recommendation scenario. First, a cloud platform is often not willing to share its data to other cloud platforms due to privacy concerns, which decreases the feasibility of cross-cloud service recommendation severely. Second, the historical service usage data recorded in each cloud platform may update over time, which reduces the recommendation scalability significantly. In view of these two challenges, a novel privacy-preserving and scalable service recommendation approach based on SimHash, named SerRecSimHash, is proposed in this paper. Finally, through a set of experiments deployed on a real distributed service quality dataset WS-DREAM, we validate the feasibility of our proposal in terms of recommendation accuracy and efficiency while guaranteeing privacy-preservation.

Confidentiality, Privacy and Protection of data (CPPD) are the major challenges in the cloud environment for cloud users such as industrials and organizations. Hence major companies are loath to migrate to cloud and also still using the private cloud because of lock in CPPD of cloud. Cloud Service Providers (CSP) are unable to elucidate strength of the storage and services due to lack of data security. To solve the above issue, we trust, algorithms are not the only solution for data security. In this regards, we suggest to change the architecture and develop a new mechanisms. In this paper, we are proposed two thinks. First is move to single cloud architecture to multiple cloud architecture and second is develop an innovative algorithm. And one more think also considered and proposed an inimitable mechanism to use an innovative algorithm in the multi cloud architecture for improving CPPD.

To migrate on-premises business systems to the cloud environment faces challenges: the complexity, diversity of the legacy systems, cloud, and cloud migration services. Consequently, the cloud migration faces two major problems. The first one is how to select cloud services for the legacy systems, and the second one is how to move the corresponding workload from legacy systems to cloud. This chapter presents a total cloud migration solution including cloud service selection and optimization, cloud migration pattern generation, and cloud migration pattern enforcement. It takes the pattern as the core, and unifies the cloud migration request, the cloud migration service pattern, and the cloud migration service composition. A cloud migration example of blockchain system shows that the proposed approach improves the cloud service selection, cloud migration service composition generation efficiency, migration process parallelization, and enables long transaction support by means of pattern reuse.
