Nowadays, more and more consumers consider environmentally friendly products in their purchasing decisions. Companies need to adapt to these changes while paying attention to standard business systems such as payment terms. The purpose of this study is to optimize the entire profit function of a retailer and to find the optimal selling price and replenishment cycle when the demand rate depends on the price and carbon emission reduction level. This study investigates an economic order quantity model that has a demand function with a positive impact of carbon emission reduction besides the selling price. In this model, the supplier requests payment in advance on the purchased cost while offering a discount according to the payment in the advanced decision. Three different types of payment-in-advance cases are applied: (1) payment in advance with equal numbers of instalments, (2) payment in advance with a single instalment, and (3) the absence of payment in advance. Numerical examples and sensitivity analysis illustrate the proposed model. Here, the total profit increases for all three cases with higher values of carbon emission reduction level. Further, the study finds that the profit becomes maximum for case 2, whereas the selling price and cycle length become minimum. This study considers the sustainable inventory model with payment-in-advance settings when the demand rate depends on the price and carbon emission reduction level. From the literature review, no researcher has undergone this kind of study in the authors’ knowledge.

The purpose of the article is devoted to the characterization of the interaction and intersection of art practices and business, the analysis of artistic activities in existing business structures, and the expansion of tools for building a new paradigm in the system of "art-business". The methodology is based on structural-functional and system analysis, statistical method, which consists in finding and studying new knowledge, interdisciplinary approach, which involves the study of issues in the interaction of art practices and existing business systems. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time a practical study was conducted on the impact of art practices on the business structure and analyzed the artistic properties that can form new economic and artistic values and interests.  Conclusions. The issue of interaction between art and business is quite new and is just beginning to develop. However, the existing stereotypes that art and business are mutually exclusive positions have already begun to shift and outline new spaces for their interaction. Art in modern society is trying to return to a secularized space because it has properties that are able to strengthen and transform the modern business system, which in global consequences may be reflected in improving the economic condition of Ukraine. Also, a deep and meaningful look at art practices once again convinces the effectiveness not only in the aesthetic and artistic context but also reveals its pragmatic and applied potential in business. Key words: art history practices, interaction, business systems, symbiosis, corporate culture.

The task of organizing corporate governance of groups of business systems that carry out industrial activities in the Industry 4.0 paradigm and are focused on a single market segment is considered. The subjects of governance are defined as residents of corporate business relations (stakeholders) who provide management or action the business as an investor, owner, lender, etc. The objects of governance are defined as business systems and their groups (business complexes, State corporations) formed as a result of institutional and infrastructural transformations in the primary and aggregated parts of industry. The  innovative component (subject), corresponding to the globalization of economic and digitalization of business processes, introduced an information system into the management channel that performs modeling and evaluating the effectiveness of corporate business relations in a virtual environment using digital twins of governance objects. Digital twins are the information components of a virtual corporation deployed on a platform of a decentralized ecosystem. The criterion for the quality of governance is the effectiveness of the corporation, formed in a balanced space of parameters relevant to financial and production indicators. The technology is described and the scheme of the corporate governance system is presented, which complementarily combines the action of business management systems and artificial intelligence (scheduler) of the virtual environment on the groups. It is proposed to extend the mechanisms of corporate governance to the business relations of the parties regulated in the digital institutional environment by electronic procedures.

There is a strong relationship between monitoring and controlling risks from several perspectives and developing effective measures to ensure continuous improvement by creating value in occupational health and safety. Business systems that transform into complex and sociotechnical systems have a dynamic structure and contain various serious risks that threaten employee health and safety based on the technological development. Even if the risk impact is reduced with the classical attempts of occupational safety experts to prevent losses, new risks may arise owing to missed risks. Therefore, risks must be continuously monitored and controlled with functionally complementary tools. In addition, these tools must interact with each other. Achieving effective results from their effort in coping with risks is another key factor for businesses. In this paper, an integrated conceptual framework for monitoring and controlling risks in occupational health and safety is proposed. The proposed framework consists of four parts. The hypothesis proposed in the first part focuses on learning from accidents, and that proposed in the second part is related to the proactive analysis and evaluation of risks. The hypothesis proposed in the third part deals with the correct ranking of risks, and that proposed in the fourth part focuses on the development of an early-warning system based on safety technologies. The hypotheses should interact and support each other in the integrated conceptual framework. Finally, the safety performance can be enhanced, and continuous improvement can be achieved by preventing the waste of time and resources.

This article considers issue of increasing efficiency of restructuring management of production systems (PS) in shipbuilding in order to support competitive ability of yards and to increase appeal of shipbuilding industry for investors. Authors by using method of directed search of rational option and cluster grouping of PS components propose an algorithm and mathematical model for determination of economically perspective components of PS in shipbuilding that need innovative conversion. Scientific methodology of present research is based on fundamental provisions of graph theory and integrated consideration of issues, related to change management in business systems. Implementation of proposed algorithm may be used for quantitative solution of management problems, related to effective development of PS of yard and for increasing market value of the same. This will create background for effective reproduction of capital in real production and hedging of financial risks, related to this process in shipbuilding.

Abstract Two years ago, geoscientists of the leading East European gas producers were still using paper logs, unknown data quality sources, and many data versions, stored on individual local disks for their interpretation jobs. To overcome this challenge, the deployment of a geological and production database was initiated in the framework of the digital transformation programme. The key objectives were to build a single data repository for all company assets and integrate it with the production and drilling business systems. The development of the corporate data repository started with an extensive data assessment. A report of available data types, business processes, recommended data management, and business rules were produced. Loading and quality control procedures were designed to load over 40 different data types, including geology, geophysics, production, and drilling. Standardisation of data available in non-industry formats was necessary, e.g. for Lithology data. To enable reporting of drilling and production data stored in the business systems, complex integration and synchronisation between different Database Management Systems were developed. Data delivery to petrotechnical applications was a key to productivity. By implementing this centralised and unique Corporate Data Storage, digitalization and loading of the well, log, seismic, drilling, and production data with proper quality were enabled. Petrotechnical experts can now use one data access point to retrieve data into their applications quickly and efficiently using just an integrated web browser. Searching information within SEGY or DLIS files was previously a difficult process that has been facilitated through an application user interface displayed in the local language. Thousands of well logs, documents, and reports have been digitised and made available in the system. The interpretation results and knowledge are now captured and reused in future field development planning. All the company data including drilling and production data synched from business systems are now available in a single place and accurate reporting can be facilitated. The system allowed the reduction of the time spent by the users searching and data quality checks.
