AbstractThis study developed and validated the consistency of a structural equation model of factors influencing the effectiveness of campus recreation management. The study involved 416 teachers and administrators, enrolled with multistage sampling in four university groups: public universities, Rajamangala University of Technology, Rajabhat University, and private universities. The data collection tool was a 5-rating-scale questionnaire. The data were analysed with descriptive statistics. The validity of the structural equation model was tested with the LISREL 8.72 software. The study proved that the structural equation model was consistent with the empirical data, with a statistical significance level of 0.05 (χThe factors influencing the effectiveness of campus recreation management ordered from the highest to lowest mean score were: organization characteristics, internal environment, employee characteristics, and managerial policies and practices. The independent variables in the structural equation model could explain 68% of the variation in the effectiveness of campus recreation management.

The objective of this study is to examine the direct effects of satisfaction, trust, and switching barriers on customer retention in Bangkok and Pattaya, Chonburi province. Four hundred and forty questionnaires were distributed as the means of data collection and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of testing hypotheses are as follows: The developed structural equation model of customer retention in Bangkok was congruent with empirical data as the criterion, as follows: (?2 = 141.098, df = 69, ?2/df = 2.045, GFI = .956, AGFI = .933, RMSEA = .049, RMR = .073, CFI = .979). Factors influencing customer retention in Bangkok included the following: a) satisfaction showed the highest level of direct influence = .225 and b) switching barriers with direct influence = .193, followed by trust = .188 with statistical significance at the .001 level. The developed structural equation model of customer retention in Pattaya was congruent with empirical data as the criterion, as follows: (?2 = 95.438, df = 49, ?2/df = 1.948, GFI = .966, AGFI = .945, RMSEA = .046, RMR = .077, CFI = .982). Factors influencing customer retention in Pattaya included the following: a) switching barriers showed the highest level of direct influence = .251 and b) trust with direct influence = .240, followed by satisfaction = .159 with statistical significance at the .001 level.

Entrepreneurship education as method needs further exploration in the context of school. Entrepreneurship Center of Ciputra University collaborated with a number of schools in Indonesia developed the K-12, Ciputra Way Learning Cycle. As many as 355 final year students from six schools were involved in this study to gain better understanding towards the factors influencing entrepreneurial competences. Using the method of Structural Equation Model (SEM), result shows that growth orientation, assessment for improvement, positively influence entrepreneurial competences.

Background: This study aimed to identify the association between occupational stress and depression-well-being by proposing a comprehensive and flexible job burden-capital model with its corresponding hypotheses. Methods: For this research, 1618 valid samples were gathered from the electronic manufacturing service industry in Hunan Province, China; self-rated questionnaires were administered to participants for data collection after obtaining their written consent. The proposed model was fitted and tested through structural equation model analysis. Results: Single-factor correlation analysis results indicated that coefficients between all items and dimensions had statistical significance. The final model demonstrated satisfactory global goodness of fit (CMIN/DF=5.37, AGFI=0.915, NNFI=0.945, IFI=0.952, RMSEA=0.052). Both the measurement and structural models showed acceptable path loadings. Job burden and capital were directly associated with depression and well-being or indirectly related to them through personality. Multi-group structural equation model analyses indicated general applicability of the proposed model to basic features of such a population. Gender, marriage and education led to differences in the relation between occupational stress and health outcomes. Conclusions: The job burden-capital model of occupational stress-depression and well-being was found to be more systematic and comprehensive than previous models.
