The aims of this study is to determaine the effect of spiritual leadership (X1) and quality of work life (X2) on performance (Y2) with organizational commitment (Y1) as a mediation on employees of Wimarion Hotel Semarang. The type and design of the research used in this study is quantitative research. Sampling in this study using a saturated sampling system and obtained the sample size that must be used is 70 employees. The analytical method used is the test instrument (validity and reliability), classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing with IBM SPSS Verse 23 and mediation testing with Sobel test. Application methods of data collection using interviews, quetionnares, and literature studies. The result of this study show that all of seven hypotheses were accepted. Therefore could be known that spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance. Quality of work life has a positive dan significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment has a positive dan significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between spiritual leadership and performance. And organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between quality of work life and performance.

Abstract: Honda official workshop (AHASS) is a maintenance and repair service company for motorcycle products of Honda. To fulfill customers demand, the company management tries to improve employee performance in order to make their consumers satisfied with the offered service. The objectives of this research are to significantly examine the direct influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance and the indirect influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance through organizational commitment. This is an explanatory research with the sample consists of 50 (fifty) employees of Honda official workshops in Sumbersari District, Jember. Data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 19. The results show that quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; work satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Over the last era of the twentieth century, rapidly drastic changes in the economic environment have occurred. These changes have led to increasing the intensity of global competition. Therefore, the organizations’ success and survival are nowadays dependent on their rapid response to adapt to the ongoing changes. This paper mainly aims to examine the relationship between organizational excellence, quality of work-life, and organizational commitment. It also aims to identify differences among the respondents’ perceptions about their awareness of organizational excellence, the quality of work-life, and organizational commitment. To this end, the descriptive and analytical approaches were adopted to achieve the objectives of the study through collecting, describing, and analyzing data to examine the hypothesized relationships between the variables of the study. Data from published research, journals, and periodicals, in addition to data based on a field study, were used for analysis. The respondents of the study included employees in the health sector (government hospitals) in Taif City, namely doctors, nursing staff, and managers of medical departments. The results showed that there is a statistically significant effect of organizational excellence on both the quality of work-life and organizational commitment. It was found that there is no significant difference among the respondents’ perceptions about their awareness of organizational excellence, the quality of work-life, and organizational commitment according to their profession. Accordingly, it is recommended to emphasize the requirements of organizational excellence requirements regarding the leadership of the Saudi health institutions and review strategies, which are developed based on the standards of excellence.
