This paper attempts to study the outlook of citizens towards awareness with special reference to mutual funds. The population of the study is selected from the Gandhinagar city of Gujarat state of the country. The sample size is 60 and the researcher has used a convenient sampling method for the study. The findings of this study are that people are aware of mutual funds and people are also investing in mutual funds. Researcher also found that the majority of investors are considering mutual fund as a risk-free Instrument. It is expected that this study will help in Gujarat to plan successful strateg

This paper analyses the strong-form efficiency of the capital market in Jordan by evaluating the performance of mutual funds over the period from 2011 to 2016, and compare it with the situation in Saudi Arabia using the Jensen modelling techniques. These tests were applied on monthly data. Results from the study show that there is no evidence of the strong-form of efficiency in either the Amman Stock Exchange or in the Saudi Arabia capital market. Therefore, investors in the Amman Stock Exchange and Saudi Arabia capital market cannot predict stocks prices or returns in the short term; with regard to firms, it suggests that the securities of firms cannot outperform the market and present market price is to a certain extent a true reflection of the present situation of their securities, in addition there is lack number availability of the mutual funds in Jordan.

In this article a plea is being made for a more positive approach to performance appraisal. The subject is discussed under the following headings: Shortcomings in the traditional performance appraisal methods; Guidelines for better performance rating; and The design of an effective performance appraisal procedure. The conclusion is reached that the solution to performance rating problems lies in the direction of a pursuance of a "systems" or comprehensive approach to rating problems; with special reference to human factors, structural aspects, dynamic aspects, and environmental factors.
