Aim. Comparative measurement of concentration of lithium, circulating immune complexes and complement activity in animals’ blood and lymph in experimental anaphylactic shock and Arthus phenomenon. Methods. Experiments were conducted on 27 chinchilla rabbits in double series. The studied values of lithium, concentration of circulating immune complexes and complement activity in intact animals were used as controls. Results. On day 7 of sensibilisation before anaphylactic shock the titer of complement components in the blood decreased by 1.4 times (p <0.001) compared to parameters of intact animals, at the stage of anaphylactic shock sharp decrease of its concentration to undetermined values was observed (p <0.001). The blood concentration of circulating immune complexes increased by 4.4 times, and at the stage of anaphylactic shock (day 21) its increase by 7.1 times was observed (p <0.001). Lithium concentration decreased to 0.03 mmol/L at the stage of anaphylactic shock (p <0.001). In Arthus phenomenon at the stage of sensibilisation (day 5) the blood complement titer decreased by 1.1 times (p <0.001), during resolution period - by 10.1 times (p <0.001). The blood concentration of circulating immune complexes increased by 4.5 times (p <0.001) at the stage of sensibilisation (day 5), and at the stage of Arthus phenomenon - by 11.8 times compared to intact animals (p <0.001). Conclusion. The concentration of circulating immune complexes increases in anaphylactic and immunocomplex reactions, besides, more significantly in Arthus phenomenon (23 r.u. in anaphylactic shock versus 38.1 r.u. in Arthus phenomenon); lithium concentration in anaphylactic shock decreases by 5.2 times which is indicative of inhibitory action of this microelement in allergic reactions.

An examination was performed of 50 employees at an enterprise where they were in professional contact with beryllium. In most workers, it was detected an increase of interleukine-8, interferon- , growing level of immunoglobulin E and circulating immune complexes. It was shown that the contact with beryllium compounds leads to the interferon- level growth only in women. In men, alterations are identified in the direction of increased concentrations of common immunoglobulin E and circulating immune complexes.

The influence of the chronopharmacological scheme of treatment with the use of exogenous Melatonin in the form of the Melaksen drug on the immunity status of psoriasis patients has been studied. The study of the immunity status consisted in determination of the main Manchini classes of immunoglobulins A, M, G, the level of circulating immune complexes by the method of selective precipitation in 3% polyethylene glycol. In addition, we determined the subpopulation of lymphocytes carrying CD3, CD4, CD8, CD16, CD 25, and CD72 antigens by the immunofluorescent method. In has been found that Melatonin in psoriasis patients exerts the immunomodulatory action on the immune system at the combined treatment (due to an increase in the number of -lymphocytes with cytotoxic-suppressive properties at obvious signs of immune disbalance in the form of the increased ratio of Т CD4+ and CD8+).

In this paper, it is shown that the modeling process of bronchial asthma (BA ) is accompanied by changes, in comparison with the control group, in the indicators of immune system response: T- & B-lymphocytes, circulating immune complexes in blood of guinea pig males on the 4th, 18th, 25th day of experiment. The aim of the study – determination of some indices of immune system in blood of guinea pigs in the modeling process of BA on 4th, 18th, 25th day of the experiment.Materials and Methods. Experiments were conducted on 40 guinea pigs (males), with body weight 0.25–0.27 kg. Animals were divided into four groups of ten animals in each. Intact guinea pigs were the first group. Animals with experimental BA – the second, third, fourth group respectively on the 4th, 18th, 25th day of the experiment. Experimental BA was reproduced by V. I. Babych method. In blood of intact guinea pigs and animals with experimental BA , the number of T- and B-lymphocytes was determined by the method of E. F. Chernushenko, L. S. Kohosov, determination of the level of circulating immune complexes was carried out by the method of V. Haskova and co-authors. The results of the study were processed by the method of variation statistics using Student's criterion. Results and Discussion. The results of the studies showed unidirectional changes in individual parameters of the immune system, depending on the periods of the formation of BA : an increase in the number of B-lymphocytes and circulating immune complexes, a decrease in the number of T-lymphocytes for all of the studied days of the experiment.Conclusions. The obtained results indicate significant changes in the immune system parameters in the blood of experimental animals with BA and are important for understanding the pathogenesis of BA . These studies provide an opportunity to find the more perfect and effective methods of diagnosis of BA.

A study of circulating immune complexes was carried out using a reaction with polyethylene glycol. The method turned out to be simple, highly sensitive and affordable for any clinical laboratory with a photoelectric colorimeter. Analysis of the survey data of 115 healthy donors, 63 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and 16 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus made it possible to establish the level of circulating immune complexes in health and disease. The circulating immune complexes were studied in patients with rheumatism and chronic tonsillitis. To assess the results of the reaction, human aggregated gamma globulin (manufactured by Kazan NIIEM) was used.
