A coronary cameral fistula is a rare cardiac anomaly and involves an abnormal communication between one of the coronary arteries and a cardiac chamber. In most of cases, it is a congenital lesion and is asymptomatic in early life. Once symptoms appear, patient warrants early evaluation and treatment. Presently, CT Angiography is the best investigation for diagnosing the disease and the best treatment modality is surgical closure. We present a case of a 10 year old male with large coronary cameral fistula from right coronary artery to right atrium, who was symptomatic and was operated for the same.

Congenital coronary artery fistula is a rare anomaly that can cause several types of morbidity and mortality. Interventional occlusion of coronary artery fistula has become a well-accepted alternative to surgical therapy. A coronary cameral fistula originating from right coronary artery (RCA) and draining to right atrium (RA) was occluded with a detachable coil in a two years old girl in catheterization laboratory of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dhaka. This is the first ever case of coil occlusion of coronary cameral fistula in Bangladesh, which led to the writing of this report. Keywords: Coronary Cameral Fistula; Coil occlusion. Coronary cameral fistula is a rare entity characterized by an abnormal communication between coronary artery and a cardiac chamber. It is congenital and asymptomatic in the majority of patients. A 29-year-old male patient presented with fever and dyspnea for eight months. A coronary cameral fistula arising from the right coronary artery to the right atrium complicating with aortic valve endocarditis was detected on computed tomography angiography. The rarity of the condition and the nuanced complication led to very individualized course of treatment which was optimal for this patient.

AbstractWe describe a patient with pulmonary atresia and intact ventricular septum in whom the right atrium was divided by a vascular aneurysm located in the right atrioventricular groove. We postulate that the structure represents an aneursymally dilated right coronary artery taking anomalous origin from the pulmonary trunk, with fistulous communication to the right atrium. We discuss the findings relative to concepts of development of the coronary arteries in normal hearts and in pulmonary atresia with an intact ventricular septum.

Coronary-cameral fistula (CCF) is an anomalous connection between a coronary artery and cardiac chamber. Most of CCFs are discovered incidentally during angiographic evaluation for coronary vascular disorder. We report a case of CCF with angina pectoris. Selective coronary arteriography revealed diffuse CCF involving the left anterior descending artery (LAD) emptying into left ventricle (LV) and showed significant two-vessel coronary artery stenosis.

A 62-year-old lady was admitted with clinical and electrocardiograph features of acute myocardial infarction. Urgent coronary arteriography was performed, demonstrating a single discrete stenosis of one coronary artery. Following intracoronary injection of GTN, this stenosis completely resolved, as the symptoms did. The causes of acute myocardial infarction with normal coronary arteries are reviewed.
