The article presents the results of an experimental study of "dry" seals in the presence of rotary vibration. The descrip-tion of the dynamic stand measurement system is given. An assessment of the influence of vibration loads on leakage through the seal and an analysis of the influence of radial displacement and shaft misalignment on the operation of a "dry" seal are carried out. The analysis of the cause of the vibration defect is presented. The permissible values of the vibration amplitudes of the rotor of the gas pumping unit have been determined.

The paper describes the process of initiating a project to improve the efficiency of gas turbine plants for driving centrifugal superchargers at compressor stations. The study shows the main trends of increasing the efficiency of gas turbine drives of gas pumping units, gives the constructive-functional appearance of the modern gas turbine drive of the gas pumping unit, and proposes a method for increasing its efficiency.

Block diagram and operation principle for automated system of prevention of emergency situations in a sliding support of a gas pumping unit have been developed. Control program has been written and HMI-interface of operator control panel has been developed.

Automated emergency stop system for gas pumping unit has been developed and tested. Block diagram of stop system has been charted and control program has been written. HMI-interface of operator control panel has been developed.
