Aim. Today, dynamically-loaded foundations of process equipment often prove to be oversized with significantly overestimated values of stiffness, mass and material consumption. Therefore, reducing the costs and time of construction of gas pipeline facilities, especially on permafrost, is of relevance to PJSC Gazprom. One of the primary ways of solving this problem is installing gas pumping equipment on light vented support structures. The disadvantage of such structures is the low vibration rigidity. A method [1] is proposed for improving the vibration rigidity of a foundation subjected to vibration load. The simulation aims to improve the dependability of light vented foundations by studying vibration displacements of foundations with attached reinforced concrete panels depending on the thermal state of frost soils, parameters of the attached panels and connectors. Methods. Vibration displacements of a foundation with an attached device were identified using the finite element method and the improved computational model of the foundation – GCU – soil system. Results. Computational experiments identified the vibration displacements of the foundation in the cold and warm seasons for the following cases of reinforced concrete plates attached to the foundation: symmetrical and non-symmetrical; at different distances; through connectors with different stiffness parameters; with additional weights; frozen to the ground. Conclusions were made based on the results of simulation of vibration displacements of foundations with an attached device in cold and warm seasons. Conclusion. The presented results of computational experiments aimed at improving the vibration rigidity of light foundations by using method [1] show sufficiently good indicators of reduced vibration displacements of the foundation. Thus, in the case of symmetrical connection of four reinforced concrete panels in summer, the reduction of vibration displacements is 42.4%, while increased stiffness of the connectors, attachment of additional weights and freezing of reinforced concrete panels into the ground will allow reducing the vibration displacements of the foundation up to 2.5 times. However, it should be noted, that applying the findings in the process of development of project documentation and construction of foundations requires R&D activities involving verification and comparison of the obtained results of numerical simulation with a natural experiment.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the prospects for the development of loading methods for gas turbines as well as to develop a mathematical model that adequately describes the real operating conditions of the loading system at various loads and rotation speeds. A comparative analysis of the most common methods and technical means of loading the shafts of a free turbine at gas turbine plants intended for operation as part of gas pumping units is presented. Based on the results of the analysis, the expediency of using the loading model “Free Power Turbine Rotor–Hydraulic Brake” as a load simulation is shown. Recommendations for the creation of an automation system for the load testing of power plants have been developed. Mathematical models and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation models of power plants have been developed and tested. One of the most important factors that predetermine the effectiveness of the loading principle is the possibility of software implementation of the loading means using software control systems that provide the specified loading parameters of the gas turbine.

The object of research is the fuel gas system of a gas turbine engine. The study of the use of secondary energy resources of the gas-pumping unit at the compressor station of the main pipeline has been carried out. The work of a gas turbine engine, including the work of the fuel gas system, is considered. The main drawback of the fuel gas system is revealed – ineffective use of excess gas pressure. An informational analysis of the options that eliminate the identified drawback is carried out. It is shown that in order to eliminate the disadvantage, it is advisable to use a turbo-expander at the compressor station to utilize the excess pressure of the fuel gas. It is also shown that the operation of a fuel gas turboexpander to drive an additional air compressor as part of a gas turbine engine is impractical. An expander-generator set with the generation of additional electricity at the compressor station is recommended for use. Modeling the operation of the utilization system made it possible to recommend constructive proposals for its improvement. A schematic diagram of a system for the complex utilization of excess pressure of fuel gas and heat of combustion products from the operation of a gas turbine engine is proposed. The system of complex utilization includes parts-generator unit, heat exchanger for cooling process gas and heat exchanger for firing gas. Regenerative heating of fuel gas up to 250 °С reduces energy consumption for heating it up to the ignition temperature. A model of a robot installation of the type GPU 16/56-1.44 (Ukraine) is carried out. It is determined that when a component engine of the J-59 (Ukraine) type with a shaft power of 16 MW operates, it is possible to additionally receive 102 kW of electricity and save 64 m3/h of fuel gas. It is revealed that the subcooling of the process gas does not play a significant role in reducing energy consumption during its transportation. It is recommended to use the process gas to heat the cold fuel gas stream downstream of the turboexpander to positive temperatures. The integrated utilization system is not a simple connection of an expander-generator set and two heat exchangers along the flow of the fuel gas. As a result of its operation, a significant reduction in the consumption of fuel gas and electricity is achieved. The disadvantages that hinder the implementation of a comprehensive disposal system are identified. This is the use of equipment for generating electricity at a compressor station. It is uncharacteristic for the operation of the station and requires additional qualifications in service. It is also required that the characteristics of industrial expander-generator sets correspond to the fuel gas consumption of a gas turbine engine.

A low-cost reverse flow plasma system powered by argon gas pumping was built using homemade materials in this paper. The length of the resulting arc change was directly proportional to the flow rate, while using the thermal camera to examine the thermal intensity distribution and demonstrating that it is concentrated in the centre, away from the walls at various flow rates, the resulting arc's spectra were also measured. The results show that as the gas flow rate increased, so did the ambient temperature. The results show that the medium containing the arc has a maximum temperature of 34.1 ˚C at a flow rate of 14 L/min and a minimum temperature of 22.6 ˚C at a flow rate of 6 L/min.
