Keyword(s):
This study investigated the relationship between claimant variables and acceptance of services by injured workers in a voluntary rehabilitation program. Results indicated that acceptance was related to age and case velocity, but not to sex, pre-injury job, educational level, compensation rate, job satisfaction or type of disability. Overall, based on a discriminant function analysis using these claimant variables, acceptance of services could not be sufficiently predicted.
