Three-dimensional integrated modeling method and the numerical simulation of elastoplastic finite element are adopted in the paper. The mechanical response of the five holes anchorage is analyzed in certain prestressed state. The stress and strain distribution information of the anchor ring, clip and steel strand is obtained respectively, and the structure safety is discussed by investigating on the maximum stress and strain.

An infinite elastic medium is initially at rest in a prestressed state of plane- or anti-plane strain. At time t = 0 a plane crack comes into existence which occupies a strip parallel to the y axis and whose width varies in time. Assuming that the components of the traction are known on the crack surface it is possible to set up an integral equation on the area of the crack for the relative displacement across the crack. Although the kernel of this integral equation is non-integrable a method is found for discretizing it and a numerical method of solution is carried out. The results, which in some cases are the solutions of diffraction problems, are presented graphically.

This paper is concerned with the natural vibrations of a rubber-like, thick-walled tube which is prestressed by an initial finite twist about the axis of the tube. The analysis is based on a rigorous theory of finite elasticity and the extended theory of small displacements superposed on large elastic deformations. Numerical results are obtained for tubes made of a neo-Hookean material. The fundamental frequency of the vibrations is found to depend on the prestressed state of the tube. In particular, when the tube becomes unstable under the initial twist, then the corresponding fundamental frequency ceases to be real-valued. When this happens, the problem becomes identical with that of torsional instability of similar tubes which was investigated earlier both analytically and experimentally.

Different constructions of bars are analyzed in the article, all of which are based on the idea of creating prestressed state in material. Improved construction of bar is proposed for equable spreading of elasticity zone along axis of boring bar.

Taking Xinjiang Exhibition Center Roof as an example, three models ("No construction stage" model, "Stretching on the ground" model and "Flow construction stage" model) were set up and analyzed with consideration of different segmented construction methods. The results show that the effect of the segmented construction method on the prestressed state of long-span truss string structures is significant. For the "No construction stage" model, the maximal cable force during construction is the largest among three models, while there are great differences between each cable force. However, the maximal displacement of sliding ends is the smallest among three models. For the "Stretching on the ground" model, the tension control force is the most uniform. This is because the cable of every truss is pre-tensioned independently, which causes no influence on other cables. For the "Flow construction stage" model, the maximal displacement of sliding ends and the uniformity of cable forces of the truss string structures are between those given by the other two models.
