A new oribatid mite species of the genus Pilobates (Oribatida, Haplozetidae) is described from Madagascar, based on material collected from litter in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, eastern Madagascar. Pilobates longiprocessus sp. n. differs from Pilobates africanus Ermilov and Starý, 2020 in the presence of simple notogastral setae and leg trochanters IV with triangular process distodorsally. An identification key to known species of Pilobates is provided.

The present study is based on oribatid mite materials (Acari, Oribatida) collected from Taiwan in 2017. A list of identified taxa, including 109 species/subspecies, 84 genera and 48 families, is presented; of these, 50 species/subspecies, 28 genera and 7 families are recorded for the first time in the fauna of this country, and 8 species and 1 genus are recorded for the first time in the Oriental region. A new species belonging to the genus Lohmannia (Lohmanniidae) is described from soil of the Yangmingshan National Park; L. douhua Ermilov sp. nov. differs from L. pseudoturcmenica Ermilov, 2017 by the broadly phylliform posterior exobothridial setae, narrowly phylliform rostral, epimeral and genital setae and clearly longer notogastral setae. An identification key to the known species of Lohmannia from the Oriental region is presented.

A new oribatid mite species of the genus Galumna (Oribatida, Galumnidae) is described from Ethiopia, based on the material collected from litter and fallen leaves on the Sanetti Plateau, Bale Mountains. Galumna (Galumna) paracapensis Ermilov sp. n. differs from Galumna (Galumna) capensis Engelbrecht, 1969 in larger body size, strongly elongate postanal porose area, long longitudinal parts of porose areas Aa and the presence of sculpturing on prodorsum and pteromorphs.

A new oribatid mite species of the genus Kunstidamaeus Miko, 2006 (Oribatida, Damaeidae) is described from Taiwan, based on adult and tritonymphal instar; Kunstidamaeus yilanensis sp. nov. differs from similar damaeid species by the long and flagellate interlamellar, exobothridial and some epimeral setae (3c, 4c, 4d), and the presence of prodorsal tubercles Da, Ba and La, prodorsal enantiophyses and ventrosejugal tubercles. Four Asian species, originally described as species of Epidamaeus Bulanova-Zachvatkina, 1957, are transferred to the genus Kunstidamaeus: K. fragilis (Enami & Fujikawa, 1989) comb. nov., K. parayunnanensis (Ermilov & Kalúz, 2013) comb. nov., K. verrucatus (Enami & Fujikawa, 1989) comb. nov., K. yunnanensis (Enami, Aoki & Hu, 1994) comb. nov.

A new species of the genus Eurostocepheus (Oribatida, Otocepheidae) is described from soil and litter of Tam Dao National Park in Northern Vietnam. Eurostocepheus (Eurostocepheus) wojciechniedbalai sp. nov. is morphologically most similar to E. (E.) mahunkai Mondal & Kundu, 1999 from India in the presence of four pairs of genital setae and medial prodorsal condyles, but differs by the quadrangular, anteromedially excavated lateral notogastral condyles, short interlamellar setae, short notogastral setae c, minute epimeral setae 1a, 2a, 3a, two pairs of epimeral setae on epimere IV, and by the transverse position of the anal setae. Revised generic and subgeneric diagnoses, an identification key to the known taxa, and data on the distribution and ecology of Eurostocepheus are presented.

A new oribatid mite species of the genus Meristacarus (Oribatida, Lohmanniidae) is described from Malaysia. Meristacarus bochkovi sp. n. differs from all other representatives of the genus by the presence of a dense tuberculate body surface.

AbstractThree new oribatid mite species, Belbodamaeus indicus sp. n. (Damaeidae), Malaconothrus macrofoveolatus sp. n. (Malaconothridae) and Nothrus phylliformis sp. n. (Nothridae), are described from Indian soils. Belbodamaeus indicus sp. n. is clearly distinguishable from all species of Belbodamaeus by the absence of discidia, very long sensilli and morphology of parastigmatic tubercles Sa. Malaconothrus macrofoveolatus sp. n. is very similar morphologically to Malaconothrus yinae Yamamoto, Aoki, Wang & Hu, 1993 from China, however it differs from the latter by the morphology of notogastral and genital setae, size of body foveolae, epimeral formula, and number of genital setae. Nothrus phylliformis sp. n. is very similar morphologically to Nothrus mystax Mahunka, 1986 from Tanzania, however it differs from the latter by the smaller body size, length of interlamellar setae and the position of notogastral setae d 1. An identification key to known species of Belbodamaeus is presented.

Oribatid mite species of the family Galumnidae, Galumna (Galumna) parakazakhstani sp. nov., is described from litter of pine plantation in Dong Nai Culture and Nature Reserve (southern Vietnam). The new species is most similar to G. (G.) kazakhstani Krivolutskaya, 1952, however, it differs from the latter by the body size, morphology of bothridial setae and notogastral porose areas A1, development of anterior notogastral margin, and location of medial pore.

Five oribatid mite species (Oribatida), phoretic on beetles, Aceraius grandis (Coleoptera, Passalidae) from Vietnam, are identified: two new species, belonging to the subgenera Graptoppia (Stenoppia) (Oppiidae) and Perscheloribates (Perscheloribates) (Scheloribatidae), are described; and three known species are Mesoplophora (Parplophora) flavida, M. (P.) polita and Ramusella (Sabahoppia) blattarum. Graptoppia (Stenoppia) luisi sp. nov. differs from all species of the subgenus by the presence of tridentate rostrum. Perscheloribates kontumensis sp. nov. differs from Perscheloribates curiosus Ermilov, 2016, Perscheloribates hanoiensis Ermilov & Starý, 2018 and Perscheloribates surigaoensis Corpuz-Raros, 1980 by the presence of body sculpturing, distinct setiform apex in bothridial setae and flexible notogastral setae. Species M. (P.) flavida, M. (P.) polita and R. blattarum, the subgenera Mesoplophora (Parplophora) and Ramusella (Sabahoppia), and the genera Mesoplophora and Graptoppia are recorded in Vietnam for the first time; the subgenus Graptoppia (Stenoppia) is recorded in the Oriental region for the first time. An identification key to known species of Graptoppia (Stenoppia) is given.

A new oribatid mite species of the family Oppiidae, <em>Multioppia</em> (<em>Multioppia</em>) <em>biciliata</em> sp. n. is described from Arak, Markazi province, central-western Iran. The new species is characterized by the rounded rostrum; strongly elbowed rostral setae; long sensilli with oblong head, dilated unilaterally, ciliated bilaterally with 15-16 long cilia on outer and 8 short cilia on inner edge; long, thick and bilaterally ciliate notogastral setae; smooth genital and ciliate epimeral, aggenital, anal and adanal setae. An identification key to Iranian species of <em>Multioppia</em> is presented.

A new oribatid mite species of the genus Hypozetes (Oribatida, Tegoribatidae) is described from soil in South Africa. Hypozetes andreii sp. n. differs from all other representatives of the genus by the presence of heavily and densely porose body surface. Distribution data of the new species are presented.
