The occasion of building an NYU Abu Dhabi Arts Center on Saadiyat Island, as part of NYU's campus there, and the Tisch School planning a new Institute of Performing Arts Center (IPAC) in lower Manhattan create an opportunity for conceiving a dynamic, collaborative Middle East-meets-West partnership. This partnership has the potential to disrupt conventional expectations of both a liberal arts education and professional theatre training as well as to build bridges to new audiences.

<p>The motto of PGRI Palembang University is that the campus advances with quality. Then a need for faculties to make a stragi in providing encouragement and motivation to the academic community to carry out the tri dharma of higher education. (FKIP) Palembang PGRI University through its highest leadership in the faculty gave a letter of assignment to work on the Mars song FKIP PGRI Palembang University to one of the music art lecturers in the performing arts education study program named Silo Siswanto, M.Sn. Then the Mars song was finished on July 23, 2018 and was launched on July 31, 2018 in the FKIP University of Palembang PGIP judicial event held at the Science Center building at the PGRI University in Palembang. Regarding the form in the Mars song, of course, this song has pieces of melody that are often known by the term phrases or musical sentences that make up the song. while the accompaniment music is arranged in an orchestra format. The formulation of the problem. (1) What is the form of Mars FKIP University PGRI Palembang song. (2) How is the accompaniment of Mars FKIP Palembang PGRI University music with orchestra format. The results of the discussion FKIP march song has a poly metric musical form where the antecedent phrase and consequent phrase do not have the same number of bars for example period C has 9 bars consisting of the phrase d 4 bars and the phrase e 5 bars.</p><p><br />Keywords: Song Form, Mars Song, Orchestra</p>

This chapter proposes a new learning infrastructure of performing arts education called Global Theatre. Global Theatre connects students and theatres over the Internet and creates a unique environment to share performing arts. It enables students to enjoy performing arts together, deepen intercultural understanding, and communicate with a global audience in synchronized time, regardless of location and distance. Global Theatre consists of three basic elements: a learning program focused on performing arts; a collaborative community formed by a university, theatre space, and performing group; and an ICT platform that realizes live appreciation of performing arts. In this chapter, two experimental implementations are carried out. The authors conducted a translated play shared by Thailand and Japan in 2009, and an international collaborative play shared by Thailand, Japan, and Malaysia in 2010. Through those experiments, the effectiveness of this new learning environment for performing arts is discussed from the perspective of the three basic elements of this structure.

Faced with accountability pressures and limited resources, education policymakers make difficult choices regarding school curricula. In recent years, studies have documented a decreased emphasis in arts and humanities instruction. One potential way for schools to fill this gap includes partnering with arts and cultural organizations to provide arts learning opportunities through arts integration, yet there is limited evidence on the effectiveness of such programs. We examine one such partnership by evaluating the efficacy of a program that infuses history content with theater. By randomly assigning school groups to participate in this program, we are able to draw causal conclusions about its effects. We find that students demonstrate increases in historical content knowledge, enthusiasm for learning about history, historical empathy, and interest in the performing arts as a result of this program. These findings suggest that there are valuable educational benefits from arts-integrated learning opportunities provided through school partnerships with arts organizations.
