Security is a major concern in today’s digital world.  Role based access control provides a mechanism for protecting the digital information in an organization by assigning roles to the individual user and giving permissions to the assigned roles for accessing any resources.  This paper describes the importance of roles in an organization and the evolutionary changes that occurs with respect to the organizational roles.  Here the role is defined as an entity and the attributes of the roles have been identified with their related operations.   The evolutionary changes that happens to the roles in an organization is identified and evolutionary algorithms have been proposed to handle these changes which helps in simplifying the formulation of access control policies.

In traditional role-based access control (Role Based Access Control, RBAC), proposed the role and user-groups based on access control with context-aware (Role and Group Based Access Control with Context, RGBACC) model. RGBACC can do unified functional management to users, and can dynamically change the user's permission by the information from application environment in the context of access and security-related .This article RGBACC model applied to the actual document access control system, and the system design and implementation of a detailed description.

Adopting the role-based access control solution, this paper focuses on the study of access level, the most important part of the enterprise information portal. In this paper, the original RBAC model was modified, methods such as domain and permission levels are applied to simplify and improve the access control, reducing the computation; client-side cache is adopted to improve the performance of the access control system. Finally, this paper uses the development of the portal modules to increase information portal functions, so that the needs of different users can be met.
