Two new species of Heleomyzidae are described. Heleomyza kovali sp. nov. is described based on material from the Czech Republic and Crimea and differs from other European Heleomyza species by the structure of male genitalia. Eccoptomera nevrlyi sp. nov. is described based on two males from Jeseníky Mts. and Šumava Mts. (Czech Republic) and differs from the most similar species, E. ornata Loew, 1862, by the hind femur having a distinct subbasal protuberance with a tuft of short setae and by the structure of male genitalia. The extreme rarity of both species is discussed.

We propose two new species: Pneumia kabelaki sp. nov. from the Czech Republic and P. toubkalensis sp. nov. from Mo-rocco. Pneumia isabellae (Wagner), a new record for Slovenia, is redescribed. Differential diagnoses are included and im-portant diagnostic characters illustrated. The concept of some Palaearctic Pericomaini is discussed and all describedspecies and subspecies of the genus Pneumia Enderlein are listed with a report of 34 new combinations. The followingspecies are transferred from Pericoma Haliday to Pneumia: Pneumia ariegica (Vaillant), P. borealis (Berdén), P. califor-nica (Kincaid), P. canariensis (Tonnoir), P. delphinensis (Georges), P. extricata (Eaton, P. hirticornis (Tonnoir), P. isabel-lae (Wagner), P. jungi (Vaillant), P. longistylis (Mirouse), P. marinkovicae (Krek), P. omogoensis (Tokunaga & Komyo),P. propinqua (Satchell), P. rivularis (Berdén), P. sziladyi (Szabó), P. thomasi (Vaillant), P. vandeli (Mirouse). In addition, nineteen species are transferred from Satchelliella Vaillant to Pneumia: Pneumia arvernica (Vaillant), P. balcanica (Krek),P. bosniaca (Krek), P. bucegiana (Vaillant), P. dissimilis (Krek), P. distincta (Krek), P. incurvata (Krek), P. joosti (Wag-ner), P. montenegrina (Krek), P. narsanica (Vaillant & Joost), P. pyrenaica (Vaillant), P. sanae (Krek), P. sandaliae (Sala-manna), P. scotiae (Curran), P. stammeri dinarica (Krek), P. stylata (Vaillant, 1973), P. tarae (Krek), P. ussurica (Wagner) and P. vaillanti (Wagner).

The fauna of hoverflies of a variety of habitats from Iran was studied with different collecting methods including Malaise traps, from 2005-2015. Two new species, Pocota hyrcanica Gilasian & Hauser sp. nov. and Sphiximorpha ziegleri Gilasian & Vujić sp. nov., are described from Iran. Illustrations of the male genitalia and photographs of the new species are provided. Their morphological differences with similar species are stated. In addition, data on 14 hoverfly species new to Iran are provided, including the first records of five genera, Brachypalpus Macquart, Palumbia Rondani, Pocota Le Peletier & Serville, Pseudodoros Becker and Sphiximorpha Rondani. As a result of our study, the number of hoverfly species recorded from Iran rises to 222.

Two new species of Basilia Miranda-Ribeiro, 1903, B. insularis sp. nov. and B. ruiae sp. nov., from Southern Brazil are described. Characters justifying the new species include, the female abdomen, male genitalia and male femur II. Relationships with similar species those of (B. ferruginea Miranda-Ribeiro, 1903 and B. handleyi Guimarães, 1966) are discussed.

Two new species of the genus Pseudidonauton Hering (Lepidoptera, Limacodidae), P. sinensissp. nov. and P. puerasp. nov., are described from China. The new species are illustrated with images of the adults and male genitalia, and compared with similar species. Distribution maps of these species and a key to all known species of the genus are provided.

AbstractTwo species of Spilogona, S. angustigena sp. n. and S. tatrica sp. n., are described from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, respectively. Both species are characterised by a gynaecomorphic shape of the male head, i.e., by a broad frons and the presence of a pair of orbital setae. Three species with this type of head are already known in the Palaearctic region: S. karelica (Tiensuu, 1935) from Russian Karelia, S. lapponica (Ringdahl, 1932) occurring in Norway and Sweden and redescribed here from material collected recently in Russia and Sweden, and S. spinicosta (Stein, 1907) from Tibet. All five species are compared and a new identification key is given. Apart from the external similarity of the male heads, the species under study are hardly closely related and their dichoptic heads may be explained as a homoplasy among similar ecomorpha.

A revision of material from the stored product pest collection of the Research Institute of Crop Production, Prague, was carried out. While so far five species of Trogoderma (all synanthropic) have been known from the Czech Republic, the revision revealed two new species and two new stored product pests for the Czech Republic: T. longisetosum and T. variabile. A key to determine T. longisetosum and T. glabrum is given. Faunistic records of the former quarantine species T. granarium are listed.

A new species of Cortinarius sect. Calochroi, C. pseudocisticola from European deciduous forests, is described on the basis of morphological and genetic features. Several collections of the species from the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Italy were studied. Illustrations of fresh basidiomes in situ and of the main macro- and micromorphological features are provided. Its morphological characters are compared to those of the molecularly closest related and most similar species.
