Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi IndoleAcetid Acid (IAA) terhadap pertumbuhan tunas pisang Barangan (Musaacuminate L. triploid AAA.) serta konsentrasi yang optimum dalam kultur invitro. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Benih Holtikultura (KBH) KecamatanSalaman, Magelang. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama enam minggu, dimulaiMaret-April 2014. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL)dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan yaitu perlakuan 1 (BP1) menggunakan0 ppm IAA, pelakuan 2 (BP2) menggunakan 0,1 ppm IAA, perlakuan 3 (BP3)menggunakan 0,3 ppm IAA, dan perlakuan 4 (BP4) menggunakan 0,6 ppm.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan(UJGD). Hasil Analisis Varians menunjukkan konsentrasi paling optimal untukmeningkatkan jumlah anakan tunas 0,3 ppm IAA dan 0,6 ppm untukmeningkatkan jumlah akar, panjang daun, serta panjang batang semu.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu variasi konsentrasi Indole Acetic Acid(IAA) secara umum tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan pisang Barangan (Musa acuminata L. triploid AAA), meskipun terdapat satuparameter yang berpengaruh nyata, yaitu jumlah anakan tunas pisangBarangan.Kata kunci : Indole Acetic acid (IAA), kultur in vitro, pisang Barangan.

Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o desenvolvimento in vitro de plântulas de progênies de oito genótipos de bananeira obtidos a partir de cultura de embriões. Os genótipos foram as espécies selvagens Calcutta e Malaccensis (Musa acuminata-AA), Butuhan e França (M. balbisiana-BB) e os híbridos 0304-02, 1304-06, 4252-04 e 9379-09 (M. acuminata-AA). Os embriões foram extraídos de forma asséptica, sendo introduzidos em meio de cultura MS com 30 g L-1 agar, inicialmente em placas de Petri (40 dias) e depois em tubos de ensaio (45 dias). Verificou-se efeito do genótipo no desenvolvimento in vitro dos embriões. As progênies dos genótipos selvagens do grupo BB, seguidos das progênies dos híbridos AA apresentaram maior desenvolvimento para as variáveis estudadas. O protocolo utilizado foi adequado para a cultura de embriões das progênies dos oito genótipos, devendo, no entanto, o período de desenvolvimento in vitro ser reduzido para 30 dias a fim de que o enraizamento não seja muito acentuado.

The propagation of Cavendish (Musa acuminata L.) seedling conventionally relatively took a longer time, not uniformed in quality and possibly has a disease that is derived from unhealthy mother stock. This research aimed to find the effect of IBA and BA on difference concentrations on the growth of plantlet, also to determine the optimum concentration of IBA and BA on the growth of Cavendish bud plantlets in vitro. This research had been carried out started from April to July 2018 in Tissue Culture Laboratory, Research Institute of Horticultural Seed Development of Pasir Banteng, Sumedang, West Java. Indonesia. The method used in this research was Completely Randomized Design with two factors. The first factor was IBA (i0 = 0 mg L-1, i1= 0,75 mg L-1, dan i2= 1,5 mg L1), and the second factor was BA (b1= 1 mg L-1 b2= 3 mg L-1 b3= 5 mg L-1 b4= 7 mg L-1), replicated three times. Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was used as a further test. The result showed an interaction between IBA and BA on the parameters of shoot growth and the number of leaves at 6 WAC. IBA showed an independent effect on the number of buds. The addition of 1,5 mg L-1 IBA and 3 mg L-1 BA was optimum for the growth of Cavendish bud explants.
