Abstract Copper Alloy No. C60800 is a medium-strength aluminum bronze containing nominally 95% copper and 5% aluminum. It has good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and its resists attack by nonoxidizing mineral acids such as sulfuric, hydrochloric and phosphoric. It is used widely for tubing in such equipment as condensers, evaporators and heat exchangers.
