Abstract Carlson Alloys C200 and C201 are wrought forms of nickel with carbon the only difference in composition. The metal has excellent resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride and caustic alkalis. The alloys combine good mechanical properties with excellent resistance to corrosive environments. Thermal and electrical conductivities are considerably higher than stainless steels or nickel alloys they possess. Excellent ductility at sub-zero temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-456. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc.

Abstract ANACONDA Alloy 706 (also known as Cupro Nickel, 10% 706) is a wrought 90% copper-10% nickel alloy developed to provide a material less costly than the copper-nickel alloys containing 20 or 30% nickel, but yet offering much of their excellent reliability. This was achieved by adding 1.25% iron to Alloy 706 to increase its resistance to corrosion by salt water. Alloy 706 is recommended where good mechanical properties, weldability and corrosion resistance are needed. It is widely used for plates, tubing and piping that must resist seawater. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-391. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.

Abstract ANACONDA Alloy (C) 521 is the phosphor bronze used where the highest demand is made for resilience, strength and resistance to fatigue. It has generally higher mechanical properties than Anaconda Alloy (A) 510 which is the most widely used phosphor bronze. Alloy (C) 521 has excellent to good corrosion resistance in most environments. Typical applications include heavy-duty springs, bridge bearing plates and heavy-duty cold-headed parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-381. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
