Abstract Electralloy A-286 is an austenitic precipitation-hardening Fe-Ni-Cr alloy. It is used for applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance up to 650 deg C (1200 deg F), and for lower-stress applications at higher temperatures. It has applications at ambient temperatures where a heat treatable, nonmagnetic material is required.
