Our proposed system discusses the concept of a smart wearable device connected to their parent’s mobile phone for children and their parents respectively. In this project we propose that to let the system be divided into three parts, namely the safe, intermediate and danger zones. If the child is within the safe zone, then no buzzer is sounded whereas if the child is in the intermediate range a buzzer alert will be sounded. If the child crosses the ‘danger’ zone, the buzzer is sounded with an immediate notification sent to the parent. In case the child goes out of danger zone, a GPS module is attached that would help parent know the exact location of the child once he/she is outside the 100meters of radius from the parent. This project also has features to sense the child’s temperature and heartbeat along with notifying the child’s parent in case the child has an accident using the temperature, heartbeat and pressure sensors respectively. The RSSI is used for distance sensing whereas GSM is used for notification sending to the parent’s mobile phone.

This paper presents a brief review on present developments in wearable devices and their importance in healthcare networks. The state-of-the-art system architecture on wearable healthcare devices and their design techniques are reviewed and becomes an essential step towards developing a smart device for various biomedical applications which includes diseases classifications and detection, analyzing nature of the bio signals, vital parameters measurement, and e-health monitoring through noninvasive method. From the review on latest published research papers on medical wearable device and bio signal analysis, it can be concluded that it is more important and very essential to design and develop a smart wearable device in healthcare environment for quality signal acquisition and e-health monitoring which leads to effective measures of multiparameter extractions. This will help the medical practitioners to understand the nature of patient health condition easily by visualizing a quality signal by smart wearable devices.

Currently, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) only monitors the condition of a tire pressure. However, there are no particular reactions taking place after the value of its tire pressure is discovered. In fact, the value of a tire pressure determines driving comfort and safety Therefore, this research proposed a method to integrate a TPMS and a Pressure Sensor Base (PSB) with a particular reaction required to fulfill tires automatically. The proposed TPMS has an electronic device unit directly attached to a tire’s valve. This unit includes pressure sensors, microcontrollers, Bluetooth transmitters and batteries. An alert system is generated whenever tire pressure exceeds the maximum or minimum safe pressure level. Moreover, if the pressure measured is below the lowest level of the desired pressure, it will automatically activate the compressor. Several experiments have been carried out to analyze the proposed system. The integrated TPMS has proven to be able to be an alternative tool for the automotive sector to keep maintaining the tires and to improve a driving comfort and safety.

The leaking of water pipes will not only waste a large amount of water but also cause great economical damage. This paper is about the research on the leaking detector based on DSP. At first, the leaking detector can collect sound signals that flow two sides by pressure sensors fixed at the two sides of the water pipes, then it will enlarge and remove the noise of the collected sound signals. At last, with the assistance of relative information about signals, it can find out the exact leaking position. Having passed physical verification, this leaking detector can figure out the exact location of water pipe leaking.
