In this paper, we investigate several fuzzy differential subordinations that are connected with the Borel distribution series Bλ,α,β(z) of the Mittag-Leffler type, which involves the two-parameter Mittag-Leffler function Eα,β(z). Using the above-mentioned operator Bλ,α,β, we also introduce and study a class Mλ,α,βFη of holomorphic and univalent functions in the open unit disk Δ. The Mittag-Leffler-type functions, which we have used in the present investigation, belong to the significantly wider family of the Fox-Wright function pΨq(z), whose p numerator parameters and q denominator parameters possess a kind of symmetry behavior in the sense that it remains invariant (or unchanged) when the order of the p numerator parameters or when the order of the q denominator parameters is arbitrarily changed. Here, in this article, we have used such special functions in our study of a general Borel-type probability distribution, which may be symmetric or asymmetric. As symmetry is generally present in most works involving fuzzy sets and fuzzy systems, our usages here of fuzzy subordinations and fuzzy membership functions potentially possess local or non-local symmetry features.

By using the polylogarithm function, a new integral operator is introduced. Strong differential subordination and superordination properties are determined for some families of univalent functions in the open unit disk which are associated with new integral operator by investigating appropriate classes of admissible functions. New strong differential sandwich-type results are also obtained.

Saint-Venant equations describe the flow below a pressure surface in a fluid. We aim to generalize this class of equations using fractional calculus of a complex variable. We deal with a fractional integral operator type Prabhakar operator in the open unit disk. We formulate the extended operator in a linear convolution operator with a normalized function to study some important geometric behaviors. A class of integral inequalities is investigated involving special functions. The upper bound of the suggested operator is computed by using the Fox-Wright function, for a class of convex functions and univalent functions. Moreover, as an application, we determine the upper bound of the generalized fractional 2-dimensional Saint-Venant equations (2D-SVE) of diffusive wave including the difference of bed slope.

In this paper, we introduce a new comprehensive subclass ΣB(λ,μ,β) of meromorphic bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk U. We also find the upper bounds for the initial Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |b0|, |b1| and |b2| for functions in this comprehensive subclass. Moreover, we obtain estimates for the general coefficients |bn|(n≧1) for functions in the subclass ΣB(λ,μ,β) by making use of the Faber polynomial expansion method. The results presented in this paper would generalize and improve several recent works on the subject.

AbstractPitman (2003), and subsequently Gnedin and Pitman (2006), showed that a large class of random partitions of the integers derived from a stable subordinator of index $\alpha\in(0,1)$ have infinite Gibbs (product) structure as a characterizing feature. The most notable case are random partitions derived from the two-parameter Poisson–Dirichlet distribution, $\textrm{PD}(\alpha,\theta)$, whose corresponding $\alpha$-diversity/local time have generalized Mittag–Leffler distributions, denoted by $\textrm{ML}(\alpha,\theta)$. Our aim in this work is to provide indications on the utility of the wider class of Gibbs partitions as it relates to a study of Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals and size-biased sampling, and in decompositions of special functions, and its potential use in the understanding of various constructions of more exotic processes. We provide characterizations of general laws associated with nested families of $\textrm{PD}(\alpha,\theta)$ mass partitions that are constructed from fragmentation operations described in Dong et al. (2014). These operations are known to be related in distribution to various constructions of discrete random trees/graphs in [n], and their scaling limits. A centerpiece of our work is results related to Mittag–Leffler functions, which play a key role in fractional calculus and are otherwise Laplace transforms of the $\textrm{ML}(\alpha,\theta)$ variables. Notably, this leads to an interpretation within the context of $\textrm{PD}(\alpha,\theta)$ laws conditioned on Poisson point process counts over intervals of scaled lengths of the $\alpha$-diversity.

In this work, we obtain an upper bound estimate for the second Hankel determinant of a subclass [Formula: see text] of analytic bi-univalent function class [Formula: see text] which is associated with Chebyshev polynomials in the open unit disk.

Abstract We study a family of harmonic univalent functions in the open unit disc defined by using post quantum calculus operators. We first obtained a coefficient characterization of these functions. Using this, coefficients estimates, distortion and covering theorems were also obtained. The extreme points of the family and a radius result were also obtained. The results obtained include several known results as special cases.

The main aim of this work is to study an extension of the Caputo fractional derivative operator by use of the two-parameter Mittag–Leffler function given by Wiman. We have studied some generating relations, Mellin transforms and other relationships with extended hypergeometric functions in order to derive this extended operator. Due to symmetry in the family of special functions, it is easy to study their various properties with the extended fractional derivative operators.

In the present investigation, we introduce the subclasses $\Lambda_{\Sigma_m}^{\rightthreetimes}(\sigma,\phi,\upsilon)$ and $\Lambda_{\Sigma_m}^{\rightthreetimes}(\sigma,\gamma,\upsilon)$ of $m$-fold symmetric bi-univalent function class $\Sigma_m$, which are associated with the Sakaguchi type of functions and defined in the open unit disk. Further, we obtain estimates on the initial coefficients $b_{m+1}$ and $b_{2m+1}$ for the functions of these subclasses and find out connections with some of the familiar classes.

In the present investigation, we introduce the subclasses $\varLambda_{\Sigma}^{m}(\eta,\leftthreetimes,\phi)$ and $\varLambda_{\Sigma}^{m}(\eta,\leftthreetimes,\delta)$ of \textit{m}-fold symmetric bi-univalent function class $\Sigma_m$, which are associated with the pseudo-starlike functions and defined in the open unit disk $\mathbb{U}$. Moreover, we obtain estimates on the initial coefficients $|b_{m+1}|$ and $|b_{2m+1}|$ for the functions belong to these subclasses and identified correlations with some of the earlier known classes.
