Guide to statistical interpretation of data

The article contains a study on the prospective tendencies and problems of the development of science-intensive enterprises of rocket and space engineering. Information base of statistical interpretation of results, using methods of logical analysis, synthesis of information and graphical interpretation of results. It was revealed that the primary tasks in the development of science-intensive enterprises of the rocket and space machine-building are the instability of financial results, the state monopoly on organizational design and ensuring the increase in the quality of products. It was proved that the development of rocket and space machine-building enterprises requires improvement of the levers and methods of state regulation of the industry and attraction of private investors. It is also necessary to concentrate all functions and levers of management of the space industry, especially in terms of financial flows, product quality, control of production activities.

Effective Interactions of Relativistic Composite Particles in Unified Nonlinear Spinor-Field Models. I

Unified nonlinear spinor field models are selfregularizing quantum field theories in which all observable (elementary and non-elementary) particles are assumed to be bound states of fermionic preon fields. Due to their large masses the preons themselves are confined. In preceding papers a functional energy representation, the statistical interpretation and the dynamical equations were derived. In this paper the dynamics of composite particles is discussed. The composite particles are defined to be eigensolutions of the diagonal part of the energy representation. Corresponding calculations are in preparation, but in the present paper a suitable composite particle spectrum is assumed. It consists of preon-antipreon boson states and threepreon- fermion states with corresponding antifermions and contains bound states as well as preon scattering states. The state functional is expanded in terms of these composite particle states with inclusion of preon scattering states. The transformation of the functional energy representation of the spinor field into composite particle functional operators produces a hierarchy of effective interactions at the composite particle level, the leading terms of which are identical with the functional energy representation of a phenomenological boson-fermion coupling theory. This representation is valid as long as the processes are assumed to be below the energetic threshold for preon production or preon break-up reactions, respectively. From this it can be concluded that below the threshold the effective interactions of composite particles in a unified spinor field model lead to phenomenological coupling theories which depend in their properties on the bound state spectrum of the self-regularizing spinor theory.

The Hungarian water management plan has lately identified 185 groundwater bodies based on the concepts given by the European Water Framework Directive. Achieving and maintaining the good quantitative and chemical status of these groundwater bodies is of primary importance. It is demonstrated how innovative hydrogeophysical methods can be applied successfully to assess the Hungarian or other international groundwater bodies. By applying geoelectric methods, horizontal layering or large uniform rock units can be well characterized by Wenner–Schlumberger array, also enabling accurate depth determination of the shallow groundwater table. Horizontal variations in the rock type or its state can be well described by dipole–dipole array or, even better, by the newly developed quasi-null arrays. Their joint application may be very straightforward to investigate different aquifer types by giving high-resolution resistivity images as input for hydrogeological modeling. In the identification of porous formations, multivariate statistical interpretation of wireline logs using cluster analysis allows reliable lithological separation of potential aquifers. Their clay content is estimated by robust factor analysis, while their hydraulic properties are directly derived from the resistivity log. For a more effective interpretation, a combination of surface and borehole geophysical methods can be recommended for meeting challenges in hydrogeology and groundwater management.
