Introduction: The success of anterior rehabilitation requires more skills than knowledge. It is necessary that the professional has updates on a new approach to obtain the best result considering the high degree of the exigency of these cases. The relationship between red and white esthetic is known and consolidated in the literature. Then, to achieve success in an esthetic smile is indispensable to apply periodontal surgery associated with restorative technique. Methods: In this report, a 28-year-old female patient sought care in a private clinic with a major cosmetic complaint due to disproportion of the clinical crown and gingival smile. Result: After planning, a clinical crown increase was performed, followed by the labial repositioning technique after the healing time of the initial surgery. Conclusion: It can be concluded that some of the surgical techniques, demonstrated in the literature, for gingival correction are feasible when correctly indicated. The best esthetic results will be achieved when the professional can understand the necessity to correct the disharmony of white and red esthetic.

Abstract Background There are no published case reports that hematomas occur on the floor of the mouth as a result of periodontal surgery. Report These three case reports document post surgical hematoma formation on the floor of the mouth that pose problems with the diagnosis, prognosis, and patient management. All cases involved periodontal surgery where extensive reduction of tori and bony exostoses were required. Two cases resulted in hematomas in the floor of the mouth. However, a change in the post surgical management for a third case demonstrated possible prevention of hematoma formation. Summary Hematomas in the floor of the mouth can be a resolving post surgical phenomenon or a serious vascular insult to this region of the oral cavity. This report clarifies the diagnosis, prognosis, and the best management protocol through the presentation of three cases. Citation Mantzikos K, Segelnick SL, Schoor R. The growing demand for aesthetics and minimally invasive and painless procedures has made ceramic laminates play a prominent role in restoring or modifying the shape, color, and function of teeth and, above all, returning smiles, brightening lives, and restoring health. With the evolution of ceramic materials, resin cements, acid etching techniques, and silanization agents, ceramic laminates are now one of the best alternatives for rehabilitation of anterior teeth that require aesthetic restorative treatments. Given this evolution, this case report aims to demonstrate the association of high quality materials with laser periodontal surgery, promoting a minimally invasive Dentistry that provides surprising results in the clinic.
